So I was down last night fishing the triangles from shore yesterday after work, a group saw we were catching fish, they walk over, and start casting right over heads from behind us. I said, "are you fucking kidding me??!! There is plenty of shoreline to fish". Who would even think about doing something like that?
Something confuses me, but then I confuse easily. I hear commercials with the voice of Al Roker saying 1 in 5 children go to bed hungry.
How in the name of 50 million food stamps recipients can this be true?
And this in a country that turns it's food into fuel (ethanol).

I think that some statistics were gathered about how many times in the past year a family had wondered where the next meal was coming from...or had missed a meal.
It's a piece of propaganda to interpret those results as if 1 in 5 children are hungry every night, when the survey studied whether that had happened anytime in the last year.

For good reason. My nephew guides in Montana - he says what we call steelhead in the Great Lakes aren't really steelhead - because they aren't ocean run. That kid's life, now that I am jealous of. Guides half the year, hunts for a few months, and has a sugar daddy client who flies him around the country to do more fishing.
Fields are blooming insanely out here in TX. Meadows look like sherbert with swirls of blue, yellow and mauve over bright green...

We have a spot right next to a bridge here about half the size of a football field that fills up with about a dozen boats or more and several fishing from the bridge and shore in the spring. I don't know how the crappie survive year to year.
They are delicious.
Some idiot, named Alix Bryan, from CBS6 in Richmond reported the Go Fund Me site for the pizza restaurant as fraud. THEN did her research! Wow, this is what the elite educational system is teaching college students these days? Report your conclusion, THEN, do your research!

Thanks. I was told Wisconsin is too cold for termites. But I see I was misinformed.

This year my seedlings are Dracocephalum moldavica and Matthiola longipetala. The latter takes forever to germinate.
It's always interesting to see what's survived the winter and what hasn't. Things are just starting to pop up. I noticed that a rabbit ate most of one of my Aronias. Oh well.

In Indiana? I doubt it.
The farther west one goes, the less good the pizza is. Chicago is an outlier, if one prefers deep dish pizza.
I prefer Neapolitan style.
