Old pictures: Vacant Girls.

Vacant Girls

This is the third in a series of my photographs of walls from late 1980 or early 1981 — somewhere in the Village/SoHo area of NYC.

Talk about anything you want in the comments (and, if you have to do some on-line shopping, please consider using The Althouse Amazon portal, the link for which is always up there in the blog banner).

The Vacant Girls. Should that be taken as a comment on the Politically Correct feminist crowd or on Katy Perry's Super Bowl Halftime Show?

Forget about those girls. WHAT ABOUT DEFLATE GATE? Just saw " multiple scientific tests need to be performed" " "I heard from someone.." "...documented.." "....physicists..."

Guess it takes pressure off racist Redskins for awhile.

Gahrie...Thanks for being a supporter of my NBA team. We go for 20 straight tomorrow night.

A reference to Martin Luther King, Jr.'s final speech, delivered right before his 1968 assassination. "Whenever men and women straighten their backs up, they are going somewhere," said King, "because a man can't ride your back unless it is bent."

Again right on the facts and garbled on the syntax.

The photos just keep getting better.

Interesting first half. The trick will be in the halftime adjustments.

It is not about Common Core, but about the Dept. of Education. It is a Federal agency with 5,000 employees and a 70 billion dollar budget.
No good was ever going to come of that, even were they all angels, and they are not angels.
