especially the co-eds...

Marvelous Marv Chirelstein, a great guy, memorable for many things, including "the mortgagor, or mortgagee--and who can ever remember which is which."

""the mortgagor, or mortgagee--and who can ever remember which is which."

It does require some thought occasionally. Eventually, though, I realized it was simple. I am the mortgagor. Someone with a lot more money than me is the mortgagee.

No other president in recent history comes close to having his intellect. It is a joy to listen to him talk about any subject matter. Come on, people be intellectually honest.

Eric the Fruit Bat म्हणाले...

Seems a shame that Bill Clinton let all that talent go to waste.

chuck म्हणाले...

Whoa, talk about a weasel in the hen house. I'll bet he would have had fun. I certainly knew faculty at that time who slept with coeds by the dozens.

Michael K म्हणाले...

Bill Clinton would have made a great teacher. Too bad.

rehajm म्हणाले...

The talk has been about Hillary but have you seen him lately? Silver hair, not of the distinguished silver fox variety but of the nursing home geriatric perv variety.

So we have at least TWO examples now that Democratic law professors should never be allowed near public office...

It's a Clinton post. I'm starting a pool on when the first shark shows and blood from the Clinton carcass infuses the posting water. The over/under is comment 20. Place your bets ladies and gents.

Thinking leads you to the wrong answer. You just have to know which is which. It's even wrong in a legal English book I use in a course I teach.

I don't think there is much evidence that Clinton got a lot of pussy [unless you count Hillary] until he became governor and found out the office made him more attractive to some women.

On their knees?

Intellect is vastly overrated in Presidents. Wilson, Hoover, Nixon, Clinton were probably the best intellects of the last century.

Amexapt, so are you saying Me is the Mortgagee -- if I owe money?

@Todd - Remember the scene in one of the Indiana Jones movies where the coed is fluttering her eyes which read "I Love You"? There wasn't much license taken in that scene. Many a man far stronger than Bill Clinton was susceptible to that - especially back in the 50's 60's and 70's when it wasn't much frowned upon. I had a Vice-Principal once - decades ago now - who married his sweetheart who was a high school senior the following weekend after her graduation. I used to be on the faculty of a Junior College. In the context of the 1970's to teach as an adjunct at 26 years old to a room full of 18-20 year old college girls was like dying, going to heaven AND then getting free money. Bill Clinton was a man of his times. And not particularly that much different - at least in theory if not practice - than many other men just like him that I have known and have worked for in the now distant past.

I can see Clinton being a good professor. Definitely one of those ones who sleeps with the female undergrads, though.

Sweet Old Bill was 27 at the time. So many years and so many targets left to conquer as a sex addicted Baby Boomer should do.

That man has stamina.

Rob म्हणाले...

And now we learn that Marv Chirelstein died two days ago. He was a fine teacher and a good man.

SteveR म्हणाले...

That choice not to inhale paid off.

"...until he became governor and found out the office made him more attractive to some women."

That, and being able to send armed cops out to collect them.

Jason म्हणाले...

Funny the kinds of teachers the media manages to find when talking about Clinton vs. Walker.

But nobody ever seems to find any of Obama's teachers. Funny that.

Exact opposite. The mortgagee (assuming that the mortgage is the holder of the note) is the person to whom you own money, and to whom you have granted a lien on your property to secure your debt.

I believe this is to be true. I always said he had the best retail politician skills I ever saw.

I'd surely enjoy playing golf with him, except I wouldn't play golf with him for money. He can't be trusted to play the ball down.

Nor would I ever want him placed in a position where harm could come to others due to a vulnerability to blackmail.

The string of dead coeds, sexploitation victims of Professor Bill, murder victims of his ever-protective wife, would eventually have put Hillary behind bars or on death row.

And then how would she ascend to the throne, er, Oval Office?

And remember, Raymond Shaw is the kindest, bravest, warmest, most wonderful human being I've ever known in my life.

Jaq म्हणाले...

Yeah, Lady Macbeth for president. What could go wrong?

Revenant म्हणाले...

Lady Macbeth actually felt guilt for what she'd done.

Just sayin'.

Ctmom4 म्हणाले...

I have seen pictures of him in those days. He was not very appealing looking. Fat. Hairy. He is a world class bullshit artist though. He makes my skin crawl, but some women obviously find that appealing.

CWJ म्हणाले...

C'mon guys.

It's a letter of recommendation from 1973.

I have to admit that the author knew what he was talking about. What about it was wrong in light of subsequent events?

Clinton seduced enough of the nation to be elected twice after all.

Laslo Spatula म्हणाले...

Bill Clinton talked SOMEONE into getting Hillary pregnant.

I am Laslo.

Beldar म्हणाले...

No one has ever doubted that Bubba could be charming in front of a crowd.

Somewhere just under or perhaps over half of American voters are finally willing to admit that he's dangerous to women in private.

You have to give due credit to — and take due precautions against — anyone who can inspire that degree of intensity of self-delusion.

But of course, the most famous part of Bubba's legal career was when the Arkansas Bar stripped him of his license. He's smart, but he was never genuinely interested in being a lawyer, nor has he ever shown himself to be good at it.

On the other hand, unlike Hilary, at least he didn't ever flunk the D.C. Bar exam.

I'd like a Bill Clinton class in how to abuse the Constitution and several women including your wife and get away with it.

Was the professor issuing this recommendation standing next to a chart of a woman and pointing at ther crotch and breasts when he said, "these parts?"

Was the prof a female? (In which case, she would just point at her own naughty bits.)
