Beautiful shots. And way off to the left is a gesturing human hand. "Lo, click on Blue Mounds, virtual creatures, and enlarge."
The tiny figure in the first shot is Meade.

Good idea for a Stephen King type book. You take a photograph, later you see the place has burned down. It happens again. Seems like just another coincidence. But then... somehow it's not.
That looks like the home of the Prairie Ship. That was about 1980 or so
