I guessed one of those black dudes who gets cast in a lot of movies but never really has anything to do; the director just has him hang around like part of the furniture on the set. Often played by Tyrese Gibson.
It's not that creepy dude who was arrested for having sex with a discarded couch at curbside, is it? Well, it WAS a "love seat," ya know. And the way it was dressed? It was just askin' for it!
Okay, I'm all for artistic subtlety, but this is a little too far out for me... and I just listened to Phillip K. Dick's "The Skull" on the Classic Tales Podcast...
Long way of saying "ALTHOUSE! Y'ER LINK IS SCREWED UP!!!"
They used to say that Eskimos had 100 words for snow and that fact told us something about what was important in their culture. If our culture has to invent a word like furniture brother/sister, what that tells us about our culture is not something I want to know.
I wonder why the definition of furniture sister has a specific exclusion for having sex on the same piece of furniture, "but not with each other", but furniture brother doesn't have that exclusion.

I still had to guess the meaning after clicking (wrong link).
Wrong link.
My guess: a friend who helps you move furniture (because that's a true test of friendship).
Are we supposed to guess who is Christie's furniture brother?
Someone who blocks the bridge when you've been dissed

Is it a homosexual act between two same-sex individuals on a piece of furniture, or separate heterosexual sex acts on the same piece of furniture?
Shouldn't the operative word be each rather than both?
furniture brother
When you and another man have both had sex on the same specific piece of furniture (couch, bed, dresser, pool table, etc.)
If you and another woman have both had sex on the same specific piece of furniture but not with each other, then you are furniture sisters.
"John had sex with his girlfriend in my bed last night. Guess we're furniture brothers now!"
It's the token black friend sitting on the sofa in football-watching beer commercials.
Someone who just takes up space rather than actively advancing the cause
It's like Eskimo Brother, but focused on the where, rather than the who...obviously a derivative. Does no one else watch "The League"?

I thought it was your friend who always calls you to help carry the couch when they are moving.
Chris Christie is "furniture brother"???

Someone not related to you that lives on your couch?
Being distinguished from your brother in law that lives on your couch....
Sorry. Fixed.
If you want to be a furniture brother with Christie, use something sturdy and commodious.
Never heard that one, but I am way out on the edge of things.
I guessed it was something like going to someone's apartment and finding out you own the same couch.

Shouldn't the sex the two furniture brothers have be with the same woman (at different times since a ménage a trois doesn't seem to fit)?
