how is this the "best thing on the internet" ? is this a new reason to laugh at and belittle men because men are supposed to have only straight hair ??? guess it takes a midwestern professor to see the hilarity in curly hair on men 'cause i'm not gettin' it.
On women too. I'm a huge fan of curly hair. But how to do it well? It can be embarrassing. Done right, it's great.
When I was a child, I had straight hair and my sister had curly hair. Everyone understood curly hair to be better back then. We were told to eat the crusts of bread to get curly hair.
I came from a curly family and they all envied my straight hair. Now they all have straightening irons and walk around acting like princesses for a week when they've gotten their hair done (i.e. straightened professionally).
The only curly guy that come to mind specifically for his hair is 70s Robert Plant: http://bit.ly/XlRJTy
My hair is as curly as Ryan Lochte's. When I was an infant/toddler, we lived in Knoxville, TN and my maternal grandmother in Tulsa, OK. My mother wanted her mother to see my beautiful, curly locks before I got a haircut. I was 4 years old before getting my first haircut, which I got in Tulsa. I wonder how man guys can remember their first haircut. (The first barber refused to cut my hair because I was crying and had the pretty long hair. He told my father that he'd have to have a note from my mother first, or have her come along.)
When I was in high school I had long curly brown hair, and had an olive complexion, which after a summer in the Alabama sun, turned me quite brown.
There was this girl (let's call her NS) in my high school of central Indian (as in subcontinent) extraction. There were few Indians in town at the time. We sat next to each other in Advanced Algebra class.
One day, some hayseed asks us, because of my complexion & hair and NS' complexion & hair, if we were cousins. NS & I stared at each other incredulously, laughed, & told the kid we were. We called each us "Cuz" from then on.
One day, NS got busted for possession of pot. This was a small town in Alabama & everyone knew. She came in shamefacedly the Monday after the bust, sat down, turned to me and said "Am I still your cousin?"
And, I, without skipping a beat said, "Always, NS. Until the end of time."
That sticks with me as perhaps one of the clearest times in my life that God' grace moved my heart & tongue.
Inga, bald is beautiful. My husband is the cutest old bald man you ever saw. I thought he was a hunk, and he was, but he just got better and better with age.

Zach Posen, be still my heart. And what old lady doesn't love Josh Groban.
The Best?
I'd rank this as a "Men in shorts class image"

I love curly hair on men... are you kidding?

My husband had curly black hair like Zach, blue grey eyes and that adorable black curly hair. He was gorgeous.
Zac, not Zach.
Will Ferrell and JT
Huh. Both can look great, or awful.

Sounds perfect.
You never saw The Duke with his hair all permed like that.
I wish you luck, I wish you joy, I wish you first a baby boy.
And when his hair begins to curl, I wish you then a baby girl.
And when her hair is straight and thin, I wish you next a set of twins.
And when they're crawling on the floor, for heaven's sake, don't have any more!

Nearly perfect for me anyway. I suppose he'd be gray and curly had he lived, or maybe even bald.
What are The Jonas Brothers doing in a category called "man curls"? I thought, at a minimum, they have to be men.

As a kid I had curly hair in the 1960s, but I tried to comb it straight with a side part.
As a teenager in the 1970s I tried to straighten my curly hair with a hair dryer and grow it long as possible.
Then I let it go pretty natural in the 1980s in college.
As I've gotten older its lost some of its curl.
@Ann So my brother is your type then... good to know.
