"She comes into the conference room singing. To me, that’s very inconsistent with someone who’s afraid."

Very intra-Wisconsin-Supreme-Court stuff, but there's a judicial election coming up, and some close scrutiny is appropriate.

Shouldn't that be strict scrutiny?

The smear campaign goes on. Now that Walker's union reforms no longer hang in the balance, does anyone care about this overblown load of crap?

What if the song she is singing is "Whenever I feel afraid..." from The King and I?

What an embarrassing mess.

This is anti-Walker politicking. If they can replace Roggensack, they can legislate enough from the bench to return control of Wisconsin to the teacher's unions.

On a related note, Brian Pierick, the live in friend of a "top" Walker cut a plea deal for a misdemeanor, a far cry from the 28 years of child endangerment charges that were first levied to get him to roll over on the Governor.

Remember when the Walker "scandal" also included kiddie porn? This is the guy. Huge headlines when it happened, not so much today.

It seems like there's one nut and one enabler. Does Bradley care that this makes her look a fool? Or does being willing to look a fool earn the gratitude of the only people she cares about, other leftwing activists?

Sorun म्हणाले...

Have compassion, people. Bradley may be mentally ill. (Is she allowed to purchase a firearm?)

The problem is, the inroads made by feminism notwithstanding, it's still not much of an insult to call a woman a pussy.

Sounds like she could use one.

The Justice limped in singing, as if to alley Prosser's wrath, who observed her out of the corner of his eye, only succeeding in making him madder.

It is this, but it's also quite interesting for what it reveals. At every opportunity to return to normalcy instead she's escalated. It's bizarre enough you have to wonder where this sort of reaction was learned.

It's too bad her term doesn't end until 2015. It would be interesting to see how the public sees all this. She'll be ~65 then so she may retire. But if she runs it will be interesting to see how apolitical Wisconsinites see this.

Absolutely yes. The liberals, led by Abrahamson and Bradley, are attempting to change the balance of the court so they can be in the ascendancy again.

They haven't forgiven Justice Gableman for the temerity of challenging and defeating Louis Butler (hence all the ethics complaints). Since they can't get rid of Gableman, they've turned their sights on Prosser and now Roggensack.

Chuck म्हणाले...

Has there been any word as yet on how the Wisconsin Supreme Court's candidates' campaigns have been funded?

In Michigan, the trial lawyers are a major fundraising lever for Democratic judicial candidates.

Bradley is clearly, transparently, gaming this issue to use against Roggensack electorally. Since it is a by-election sort of scheduling, I'd expect that the result will be similar to the results of the Walker election, the Prosser election, and the failed Walker recall. There's no Obama to save the Democrats. What does Wisconsin polling show?

James म्हणाले...

I doubt she'll retire. Abrahamson is 79, Prosser is 70, Roggensack is almost 73 and seeking re-election to another 10 year term.

MnMark म्हणाले...

Seems like it would be appropriate for someone to initiate a petition campaign to impeach Bradley as emotionally unbalanced and unfit for duty.

Force her to defend herself in an election before 2015.

mccullough म्हणाले...

Any chance Bradley and Prosser would jointly agree to resign?

I'm thinking Dems might want her to retire. I hope she doesn't, I want to see what percentage of Wisconsinites care.

Riiiight. Because that's just how that went down. They lost, and filed an ethics complaint!

Or......Not.

But the sleazy, misleading ads have not all come from “unaffiliated” groups. One of the worst misrepresentations is a TV ad that features a photograph of a smiling Justice Butler superimposed alongside the mug shot of a convicted rapist. The ad, which was approved by Gableman, says, “Louis Butler worked to put criminals on the street. Like Reuben Mitchell, who raped an 11-year-old girl with learning disabilities. Butler found a loophole. Mitchell went on to molest another child.” The conclusion any viewer would draw from the ad (approved by Gableman) is that Judge “Butler found a loophole” which gave him an excuse to release this convicted criminal from incarceration “to molest another child”. That is completely untrue. Justice Butler never ruled on a case involving this convicted felon. And nothing that Butler ever did in his entire life resulted in the release of this convict, who served his full sentence before being paroled.

Singing past the grave yard only shows how dangerous old Prosser pus is. His mere face paralyzes the ladies with fear. He doesn't even need to seriously choke hold them one by one.

James म्हणाले...

What Garage purposely omits is the fact that Louis Butler began his career as a state public defender in Milwaukee; that's where he earned the sobriquet "Loophole Louie." The ad referenced his work as a public defender not his rulings as a judge.

It seems that women are winning the battle for equality. Their value has already been adjusted commensurate to their availability for sex, taxation, and exploitation for democratic leverage. Soon they will die like men in service to a mortal god's (e.g. Obama) ego, without accountability, and without a recognizable difference. However, in the meantime, their innocent, frail act is wearing thin. Women have earned the rightful classification as their perceived stereotype of men. They have learned well to exploit real and manufactured leverage, but their true nature barely obscures their ulterior motives.

That said, this characterization obviously doesn't apply to all women. It cannot possibly. For if it did, our society would not be experiencing a progressive but a conclusive dysfunction, and it would have either collapsed from internal corruption or foreign invasion.

Meanwhile, the national debt is around 17 trillion dollars and progressing at a rate exceeding 1 trillion dollars per annum, there are tens of millions illegal aliens in our midst, evolutionary fitness is rejected in favor of personal gratification, and millions of children are sacrificed annually for the most capricious of reasons, to preserve to preserve wealth and welfare.

I wonder if this is the quality of progress that Obama has in mind when he revels in his success.

The first paragraph I linked to stated clearly his time as a public defender. Butler didn't find any loopholes as the ad claimed. It's a lie. Not sure why an intelligent person wants to be to be associated with this sort of sleazy shit.

David म्हणाले...

Bradley!

She fails to recuse herself in a situation that obviously requires it. Then she dawdles after Prosser is forced to file a motion for her to recuse herself. Finally she uses her recusal statement to take shots at two of her colleagues, including one who is up for reelection.

With this bitch on the loose, no wonder the court is a mess.

I use the b-word very sparingly but sometimes nothing else will do.
