Do you think KSM, or or any of the tiny number of terrorists actually subjected to water boarding would have preferred what they got, or what this guy got? Or what any of these guys got?

There is then no moral equivalency. What KSM got was what our SERE cadets got and we don't call that torture when we do it to them.

I would even go so far as to say that if we knew of one of our soldiers who was captured and was about to be tortured like this man was, and we had captured a terrorist (high ranking) that we were relatively sure knew the details of where our soldier was hidden that water boarding would be permissible if just to prevent someone from being tortured far worse.

These are the people who we are dealing with. They have no problem crucifying people and chopping off heads (and not just chopping but sawing off heads). Water boarding is kindergarten stuff for these guys.; ४/१२/१२, ९:१२ AM
