I had to carry Quasy Dog across something like that and was surprised at how woozy I got.

I have no idea (nor do I care) what you're talking about - but think you might find interesting a ruling in a California case regarding the "conversion therapy" law that came a day after Judge Shubb's.
"A day later, U.S. District Judge Kimberly J. Mueller, Shubb's colleague on the Eastern District of California bench, a federal judge appointed by President Barack Obama, reached a nearly opposite conclusion in a similar lawsuit filed by the conservative Liberty Counsel. Mueller wrote that the law did not violate free speech rights, but instead regulated professional conduct."

They got rid of the album cover scroll and reduced the display to a single plain vanilla format.

Looks like it was a nice ride. Conservatives, of course, oppose bike paths every chance they get.

Yes, the taxpayers paid for the bike path. There is a statutory provision in Wisconsin that gives the state first right of refusal on abandoned rail corridors, and they either get land-banked for future transportation use or get converted into bike trails (and in some limited areas the state buys the corridor, tracks in place, then leases the line to a private short-line railroad.) Railroads stopped abandoning line in any appreciable amounts in the 1980's. What you have to see sometime is a rail map of Wisconsin in 1920, it looks like a dense, well developed circulatory system. The total track miles rapidly declined starting in the late 1920's, and by comparison, today there is a tiny fragment of the network that was once there. What was left from that decline has become a network of bike routes that cross the state. It would be essentially impossible to aggregate that kind of right of way today, in the absence of the railroads having assembled it from 1870-1920. Thank God for the rise and fall of the railroads!
Hate to be a mom here, but I need Meade to check the fit on Profe Althouse's bike helmet. Looks too high and tilted back. Should be level. You're a brilliant mind and I want to keep you that way. :)

Leslyn, I caught that. It's conservative ideas, which include non stop Obama derangement, conspiracy theories, sometimes misogyny and even occasional racism that are getting pushback. I wonder now, does Althouse herself and readers here feel they are being personally attacked every time their commentary that fits the criteria I mentioned are criticized by a liberal?
Has "Althouse" become a cult of Althouse? That would be boring indeed. Is this why Crack left? Did he sense this?
The Professor is not a born sales(wo)man, so she is a bit awkward about it, but I have to agree with her. If you object that strongly to her attempts at salesmanship, go browse in some other store!
