Cullen, who was among the 14 Democratic senators who left the state during the historic protests at the Capitol in 2011 but had sought compromise with GOP governor Scott Walker on collective bargaining, said he was insulted by not being named chairman of any Senate committees after the Democrats regain control of that chamber.

Why is Urban Dictionary the authority? I would have guessed "tubed" is a derivative of "torpedoed" (torpedoes are shot from a tube).

Fitzgerald was on Belling's radio show during drive time in Milwaukee and he said he may well offer Cullen a chairmanship if he caucuses with the R's. This assumes they get the Senate back, which looks pretty good after redistricting.

I would think expressions like "He tubed the exam" are not with the same sexual intensity as "fucked". Otherwise "fuck" becomes a universal word, which lacks nuance except in tone and context.

I think 'tubed' in this context means to send something down the tubes, in other words to sabotage it. I don't know where that comes from but it is very old in military slang.
