Ah, Ann Coulter, master of the death by a thousand quips, especially all those love taps from America's Answer to Bill Maher's hopes.
Coulter has gone so far in the tnak for Mitt Romney that her credibility has been compromised.
That, plus if one believes her tweets, there are frequent 'cocktail hours', especially during debates. Draw your own conclusion.
tank, not tnak. Dang!
He'd be Ted Kennedy if he didn't believe in God."
Talk about your expansive statements...
I actually agree with her. He is more Catholic than conservative.
By the way, that picture at the top of the linked WaPo article shows Santorum speaking in a church, yes, but it isn't a Catholic church.
Saint Torum seems to understand the role heirarchy. But he is not open to ideas outside of the approved list.
Santorum always maintained one of the highest fiscal conservative ratings from taxpayer groups while he was in the senate. He has a demonstrable record as a fiscal conservative unlike Big Government Republican Mitt Romney the father of Romneyobamacare.

Baptists in Iowa.
looking through the slide show, I was struck by 2 comments:
- Slide 7, Michele Bachman's Bible clearly wasn't borrowed from some motel last night for the photo shoot.
- Slide 9, WaPo can't resist some Newt snark even in a nice church picture The thrice-married Catholic convert with a long political past has struggled to gain the trust of potential voters.
As if anyone in the Washington Post knows anything at all about religion.
He'd be Ted Kennedy if he didn't believe in God.
Damn, she's good. I don't always agree with her (especially now with Romney) but I'm impressed at how effortlessly she does it,...
He has a demonstrable record as a fiscal conservative
Please demonstrate it then.
He was Mr Earmark in the Senate. That's one of the big reasons -- that and his dubious Pennsylvania Residence -- he got booted in his re-election.
Santorum is a big-government Social Conservative. Just what this country is looking for (eyeroll).
I’m for Romney at this point but in defense of Senator Santorum, he did come out in favor of abolishing all energy and most agricultural subsidies over the next five years and capping spending on defense, Medicaid, education and job training programs for the next five years. Even with his “compassionate conservative” tendencies, that along with repealing Obamacare and his support for entitlement reform would definitely be an improvement over the status quo.
She's wrong on "big government social programs". He's a big spender across the board.
And Michael Haz is also right; she's so in the tank for the Milton/Christie ticket (if that is the ticket, she won't need a vibrator for the next 4 years), she's lost almost all credibility.
Social conservatives believe that the economic ruin of the country is a good time to deal with abortion and drugs.

That is so true. They are fucking obsessed with those 2 things.
He'd be Ted Kennedy if he didn't believe in God.
Has Santorum ever had an altar boy sandwich?
I know that anti-Catholic bigotry is all the rage, but precisely who is this Ann Coulter? What has he, er, she ever done to commend herself to be this big "conservative" voice? She has no more credibility than any of the other talking heads manufactured by TV out of whole cloth.
So the fact that the Iowa caucuses avoided giving the gold to Newt Gingrich, Ron Paul or some other sure-to-lose candidate
You realize that she is talking about everyone except Romney, right?
That's what I mean when I call all the other candidates jokes. It's been obvious for months that everyone except Romney would lose badly to Obama because the American people simple wouldn't take them seriously as a presidential candidate. Romney will be taken seriously as a candidate, but I think he will still lose.
Many of you don't like Obama, but I think you can still admit that he will be taken seriously against Romney for his second term. Many of the braver, more honest commenters are even willing to admit that the non-Romney's don't stand a chance against Obama (much less Romney).

If you're going to be honest about it and try to see the President as someone from center-right to right would, the main, most important, reason your statement might be true is nothing but presidential incumbency.
Social conservatives believe that the economic ruin of the country is a good time to deal with abortion and drugs.
Economic conservatives believe that Communism is bad fiscal policy, but other than that they have no complaints.
Economic conservatives have no opinion on slavery (other than "free labor is neato"), but they are outraged by the tarriff bill of 1826.

Yeah, sure! And her credibility would be Soooooo enhanced by going with a non-Romney!!
Which one do you have in mind as a "credibility enhancer"?
Do you believe in the Cult of Ron? See Saint Tore-Um of the Casey landslide in Pennsylvania as ideal? Miss Bachmann terribly? Enraptured with the cosmically vast mind of Newt and agree with him that he is perhaps the most important Transformational Leader since Lincoln?
Maybe you like Huntsman.
Are convinced Perry isn't dumb.
Who?
Or are you really saying absent a perfect Republican, it is best to stay with Obama for another 4 years rather than risk your personal credibility and conservative purity??

I'd to hear why you voted for Obama again, C4. Tell us that one more time.
