See? It's over in the sidebar. Keep in mind that the Cap Times is not only based in Madison. It proudly skews to the left and, consequently, attracts an unusually liberal readership. So check out the results:
It's possible that some pro-Walker site has already linked to this poll, and that's why Walker is getting 54% of the vote. (I assume my linking now will have an effect.) But it's startling to see the Cap Timesters going big for Walker like this.
In second place, with 33%, is Russ Feingold, but Russ Feingold has assured us he's not running. I have — at various times — predicted he'll "reluctantly" jump in after playing coy, but I don't think he'll do it unless he feels pretty confident he will win... not just the primary, but win against Walker. And I don't think he's going to get that feeling.

So, the poll results you've posted are an indicator that Wisconsin's agency counting the recall petition signatures will determine the Dhimmis didn't get enough valid signatures?
Well, that would be one way for the Dhimmis to back out of the recall election gracefully!
Ps: I've used "preview" while posting this comment. Google doesn't like to allow that comment to be posted after the preview and demands that the WV be re-entered. Google's software acts mighty strange at times.
This will be fixed momentarily.
I gotta feeling....a feeling deep inside...I gotta feeling I cant hide....hey ho hey, Scott Walker gotta stay!
I'll start a drum circle from my home and maybe others will pick it up and continue drumming from their places!
Gee, this might be a first, a nationwide drum circle beating for Conservative Causes! Yippie!
Check for a router in the governors office.

Does Not Compute.
ouch that's gotta hurt.
The results are pretty dismal, even if you take out all the votes for Walker. Kathleen Falk, chosen by the party elite to run against Walker, is barely registering.
Feingold = this year's unicorn.
LOL, yeah, i voted on their site and notice its it's still stuck at 54%.
Good article by Steven Moore in the WSJ on the comming recall election in Wisc.

I think it's great that the empire of public unions is being broken in Wisc & New Jersey. What i cant figure out is, why Walker? he's such a low profile kinda guy. One would think they would be after Christie much more than they are.
They need to consult Al Franken to find out how to turn a vote deficit into victory.
Yes, where are all those dead people when you need them?
Has anyone told Suicide Prevention to get ready for the call they're going to get from garage?
Does Not Compute.
Check for a router in Walker's Deputy Chief of Staff's Office?
I'm happy that Kathleen Falk has overtaken Someone Else in the polling.
Falk will never be the Dem nominee. Haz knows this, but at the moment, I do believe that's all he really has.
Ron Paul is winning all the online polls too!
...
Ann should create a new tag called "Garage bait."
Feingold will run. He's a Wisconsin patriot.
Patriots serve when called, with little concern about the "personal".
As for why national attention is on Walker instead of Christie?
Because many think Walker "slipped" his changes through, while Christie S L O G G E D them through.
Process matters.
Check for a router in Walker's Deputy Chief of Staff's Office?
With Smart Phone 4G technology, would a router be necessary?
Obamacare, with its lack of support from the majority of both Democrats and Republicans, is a fine example of "process gone wrong".
Garage - Kathleen Falk says she'll be the nominee. Are you calling her a liar?
Because many think Walker "slipped" his changes through,
Nice try with the revisionism. Just keep telling yourself that if it makes you feel better.
I think there was only about what, two months, when all we heard about was this. Walker got his changes through because the legislature was Republican, properly elected by the citizens of Wisconsin. The only people who were surprised were living under rocks.
Short version: You lost, deal with it.
while Christie S L O G G E D them through
Christie has so far beaten the crap out of the unions. They're afraid. Very afraid.
Meade must have a lot of free time.
Haz --
I don't recall Falk ever saying she was going to be the nominee. Would be a pretty stupid statement as she is the only declared Dem so far .
Penny
Uh,no. Feingold still has national office aspirations. He will not lose his cache on the Union driven recall.
The main segment of that web page reads..
Rebecca Kleefisch should watch her back.
Wow.. is that how "progressives" talk over there?
Not even garage.. nothing that I've read.
Garage - I don't know what you know about Falk, and I really don't care.
She has been circulating emails to friends telling them that she's running and asking for their help. And the unions, no secret, are backing her. They've told Tom Barrett as much.
"Short version: You lost, deal with it."
Such a familiar ring.
Still gives me the shivers.
Walker is the only one without a first name in this poll (even "someone else" has a first name). That suggests that either his name recognition is much greater than the others, or, perhaps, that the Capitol Times might have slightly less respect for Walker than the others. I wonder which it is.
I'm just astonished the Cap Times hasn't massaged the poll. Its the MO of liberal rags.
"Because many think Walker "slipped" his changes through"
Only if they are being deliberately stupid. The unions rans campaign ads against him claiming he was a "Union Buster"
Maybe thats why he won?
And the reason the Unions are making a last stand in Wisconsin instead of New Jersey is because they know that if Walker get his way, every other state will follow suit. So they will live or die on Walker's recall, throwing everything they can muster.
A) I like to read them on line as punishment. I read the comments sections. There is no way anymore then 10% of their readers are open Republican-conservatives-libertarians.
B) I have reason to believe there are closet free-marketers there.
C) It could be that even the lefties think a recall is stupid and sets a bad precidence for when they get back in control.
One request for posters......can we come up with a different name than "WSJ"? Both for those of us who don't live in Madison, and since Wisconsin politics have become nationalized, it gets confused between the Wisc State Journal and the Wall Street Journal.
Big Dave Obey is only at 3%? Maybe if he got up before noon, took at shower, trimed his facial hairs, gets a clean plaid shirt from Farm & Fleet, he may reach 5%. Might have to lose 30 pounds also. (as a former resident of Northern Wisconsin, I have a right to belittle him).
"Christie has so far beaten the crap out of the unions. They're afraid. Very afraid."
NJ unions aren't afraid of Christie. He's just the messenger, and a damned good one.
They're merely MORE INFORMED about a serious deficit and the tough choices ahead that will impact everyone. EVERYONE.
"Give me a little bit now..while we all have the chance to turn this ship-of-state around."
Fen, you are right in that the nations' eyes are on Walker and and on Wisconsin.
And when this is all said and done, it surely FEELS like there will be big winners and big losers...and hey! You're feeling like a winner today.
C) It could be that even the lefties think a recall is stupid and sets a bad precidence for when they get back in control.
Fen's Law: The Left doesn't really believe in the things they lecture the rest of us about.
ie. they'll change the law back to winner-take-all when it suits their interest.
There are no winners when DEBT has her way with you.
A cruel mistress... who could care less how you "feel".
Fen - even if the unions recall Walker, all they are doing is delaying the inevitable. By 2015-2016, every state in the Union will be in full on austerity mode. Fiscal reality dictates it.
"Ann should create a new tag called 'garage bait'."
OK, that was funny... but it would tip him off and ruin the fun.
That's hilarious.
"ie. they'll change the law back to winner-take-all when it suits their interest."
Bingo. The reason Scott Brown is a senator today is because the Demorcrats were hoisted on their own petard playing that cheesy game of changing the rules in mid-stream to suit their interests. In fact, Mitt Romney was the cause. They changed the law so he couldn't appoint a replacement senator if one died. But by the time Teddy finally checked out, Mitt was no longer governor and they screwed their own Democrat from appointing a replacement. They tried to change the rule again but it was too late and they were forced to let the people decide. D'oh!
Maybe this has something to do with it:
"Madison School District officials hope to avoid layoffs and spare employees from contributing to their health insurance premiums next school year, though to do so they might have to raise property taxes."
Might? Dear Madison property owners: I would stock up on the K-Y. You're gonna need it.
CG, Dane County can expect it's public schools portion of the tax bill to mirror what happened with the technical college portion of their bill this year, namely an increase 10 times more than any other in the state because they rushed through new contracts in March locking in 3 years of raises and no health insurance contribution...
Voting for Walker is job security!
I'm pretty sure that most of the morons chanting in the rotunda are being paid.
Ron Paul wins almost every single online poll I've ever seen where he is an option. You know why? Ron Paul supporters are highly motivated to respond to those polls. I have no idea why Althouse thinks an online poll can tell us anything given the difficulties with self-selection effects in this case, but she nonetheless does. Does she have any doubt that whomever Walker's opponent is, they will destroy Walker among regular Cap Times readers? I'm guessing the answer is no. Yet she can't make the connection between that fact and this poll and see that we're almost certainly looking at a motivated self-selection phenomenon like in the case of Ron Paul.
The anti-Walker crowd, like the OWS groups, seem to have mistaken enthusiasm for popularity.
