City lights, the pretty lights
They can warm the coldest nights
All the people going places
Smiling with the electric faces
What they find the glow erases
And what they lose the glow replaces, and life is love.
In a neon rainbow, a neon rainbow, a neon rainbow

My wife and I once drove a rescued St. Bernard to Lafayette, Ind. to the adoptees (they were from Chicago and vetted by A St. Bernard rescue in Columbus, OH). Then we went to the I.U. wolf park nearby. That was pretty cool.

And I am amused.

Oh, by the way, that is a cool picture.

I hope the lights on the sign (A..M..U..S..E..D) come on sequentially. That would be cool.

We used to do a lot of late-night stuff in radio as I was coming up through the market sizes. There's something very surreal about a small town downtown area like that around 2 or 3 am. I never got tired of it.

Once flew into Laffayette, IN. I remember two things about that flight. First, just as we touched down a guy leaned over into the aisle and emptied his stomach. Had to jump over it to get off the plane. Second, the Playboy jet ws parked on the tarmac, I'm remembering a DC9, all black with the white bunny logo on the tail.

Did it amuse you? Like a clown?

You can have your nose pierced in AMUSED
And even your tragus,
Buy a hookah to smoke away the blues --
Better than Vegas.

I had a friend and cubemate at work who did that kind of photography. We joked about putting some of his shots in the company photographic exhibit as The Skid Row Series.

Back to the scene of the crime, eh?

Cute.

So if you and a friend go browse the shop, and don't find anything compelling to purchase, and leave, do you say in a stately English accent as you stroll out the door, "We are not amused!"?

Craig म्हणाले...

Ask the Chinese. Proper usage isn't amusing; it's amusive.

kentuckyliz! Nice to see you again.
