You look marvelous, dahling.

For some reason, I thought of snow angels, and the fact that they'll be make-able in 2 short months.

Just came back from a fantastic break with the POTUS re-election team. We had a barbecue and we talked about the 100-days of the 2nd term. The draft version 7 was what we discussed. The GOP has no clue how fast, ahead, and dedicated we are to WINNING. Even Charlie Sheen cannot imagine this, even if he took one-too-many drugs. We are ahead of the GOP.

अनामित म्हणाले...

Dirty lazy good for nothing Madison hippie taking a break from protesting.

For now I guess you can relax in enjoyment with your green grass like that. Expect our Regime to outlaw it soon, using the blunt bludgeon of the Commerce Clause.

Soon you will lay back on your lawn, only to be met by an iconic American SWAT team ready to imprison your lazy Professorial ass.

Taking a break is un-American. You need to get up and make money so the Regime can take it and give it to Bank of America.

edutcher म्हणाले...

You had a rough night last night.

It's not easy being house mother, I guess.

But - is it really that warm up there, to be laying on the ground?

(my mother would have freaked if she saw me laying on the ground in the middle of Oxtober)

A break from what?

What a quaint notion of personal property to maintain! Kelo baby! That grass will be needed for a greater purpose.

It is 75 F right now. We're going on two weeks of unbelievably nice weather.

Governor Walker should really get the credit for the weather. We never had anything this nice before he was elected.

अनामित म्हणाले...

Oh is that Althouse? She looks so young and thin, mistaken identity.

chickelit म्हणाले...

Being less prone to pro-state positions, the supine Althouse opines lying down.

Ann Althouse म्हणाले...

"But - is it really that warm up there, to be laying on the ground?"

I don't know about laying on the ground, but it was fine for lying on the ground -- about 70°.

Meade म्हणाले...

You are excused for your gratuitously insulting honest mistake, Mitochondri-Allie. Most of the 2011 Madison protesters have been neither young nor thin.

Curious George म्हणाले...

Call Meade and find out ;-)

Fred4Pres म्हणाले...

You do look marvelous!

chickelit म्हणाले...

Plenty of pop lyricists have confused "to lie" and "to lay" -- Bob Dylan, Pet Townshend among others.

chickelit म्हणाले...

"Pete" Townshend. lol

We had weather just like this a year ago.

Are you starting a grassroots movement, or just taking a crack at those of us suffering a Texas drought?

Happy to know you were just lying on the ground. Too bad for Meade.

So it's basically what we have here.

PS Any way you want it, Madame.

I guess I was just being intransitive.

Meade म्हणाले...

"We had weather just like *this* a year ago. "

Before Walker, we had too many days with unbearably high temperatures. Before Walker, it had been unbearably long since the Packers won the Super Bowl, the Brewers played for the pennant, and the Badgers went to Pasadena.

Before Walker, Wisconsin was barely even on.

Meade, July 2011 (with Gov Walker) was the 7th warmest July on record in Madison, far warmer than July 2010 (pre-Walker).

Interesting, but they should have used a second color for departures in the interests of contrast.

Meade म्हणाले...

MadisonMan, July in Madison is supposed to be warm. The Good Lord made it that way so we can grow (if only barely) ripe tomatoes. I shouldn't have to explain this to you - you're a weather expert.

October, is suppose to be perfect.

And it is.

Thanks to Governor Walker!

MadisonMan म्हणाले...

Meade, this October, so far, is a carbon copy of last October, shifted about 2 days (2 days later this year vs. last).

Except for the Brewers. The Brewers post-season October run definitely reflects poorly on Gov. Doyle and well on Gov. Walker.

Meade म्हणाले...

Yes.

Dust Bunny Queen म्हणाले...

Until today the weather has been fabulous for mid October. Mid 60's and low 70's. Usually we are freeze protecting properties by now. But, still it is just a light drizzle and in the low60's

Still have some tomatoes that are getting ripening. Tons of apples to pick, pears and quinces. Still working on the last of the Italian Prune Plums.

Since it is an inside day: I've been baking all day and making a GIANT pot of marinara sauce from the tomatoes in the garden.

Life is pretty good right now. Enjoy the beautiful weather and gorgeous world we have been given.

Rejoice in what you have and do not dwell on what you don't have.

:-D

You look Fantastic Helen. You have definitely lost weight, not that you needed to.

But lets face it you can never bee too thin and gorgeous.

What have you been doing?

Have you found your Lotus Notes Position/

Titus म्हणाले...

It was 85 here today.

I was at the beach at Nahant and Swampscott, totally fab.

Dog's are allowed on the beach now!

I saw tons of Muzzies. Almost everyone that walked by spoke a different language.

Boston is so International.

So many hot guys with amazing bodies.

The rare clumber was very popular, natch.

Tits.

Just lie back and think of Wisconsin... :-P

Hey Titus, how about those Russian Mafia guys. Did you know the Boston library has one whole floor devoted to Russian language books? If you say 'dos vedanya' when you step off the subway, half the people on the car will look to see if they know you.
