As a Deep Orange Tennessee Volunteer, I'm familiar with big games. I enjoy schools besides OSU and Michigan winning in the Big 10. Go Badgers!
How Deep Orange? My father got his M.A. and Phd. there and taought there his entire career. Between my parents (my mother has a B.A. and M.A from UT), my siblings and myself, we have 10 degrees from the mighty University of Tennessee.
But, now for me, the BIG GAME is the game my son is playing in tomorrow on the small college circuit.
edutcher, Poppy doesn't need a Badger sweater because she is a badger (grrrr; I have the wounds to prove it. She is a sixteen-week old with a teething issue).
"Did anyone attempting to use Bank of America on-line banking today experience it being down all day?"
Didn't try it. But, on Tuesday I was in a BofA when the power went out. They took my deposit and gave me a hand written receipt. Presumably this was how it was done in the olden days.
Anywho, re debit fees, I was already planning on moving more dough from BofA to Chase, if they dare charging me for debit (through which I run about forty M per month) I will make sure I don't leave a cent w/ them.
But, my guess is that such fees will be left for the folks who move and deposit less dough.
We left Door County a day early because the high winds on Thursday knocked out all the power and I cannot redo last night, when I kept the fireplace going all night with fast-burning pine, sleeping 30 minutes between adding logs.
As we left the lodge, a beautiful bride was awaiting her new husband in the main hall, surrounded by guests and the strains of a single violin. Though it was growing dark and the generator had failed, she soldiered on. It was very sweet.

Hudson and Morstan, and before them, Quantum, all had teething issues, but they refrained from chowing down on Mom and Dad, although Quantum took a liking to The Blonde's undies.
For about five years, Victoria's Secret was always the default gift at birthdays, Christmas, and Valentine's.
Hudson, OTOH, took a liking to a couple of cabinets for a while.
It’s not funny when your boat goes aground. I have mine moored down at Willow Beach and I rowed out there today to make sure the mooring lines were intact, what with the 40 mph winds. That boat will be ruined, crushing on the steps like that. Did you contact the mooring guy at the union?
I love the new tele show Pan Am. I wish I was around back then when flying was fab and the flight attendants weighed in and were beautiful. And no "stewards"
American Flight Attendants are gross and bitchy.
At least we still have international flight attendants and flights where they are hot. Air France bitches are still amazing and totally bitchy.
That photo looks like it was taken from a carrier in the Pacific at sunset, with the pier being a too long LSO platform. Sort of Victory at Sea in color. Nice photo, I like it.
Irene, three huge pine trees fell like dominoes in a row within feet of our cabin. The couple in the cabin next to us panicked and left in the storm. We were fine, but I got about an hour's sleep altogether.
Every town but Egg Harbor was out of power, and with a busy weekend looming. Bad news.
The giant span of window overlooking the eastern shore offered a gorgeous view, but the 60-70 mph winds shook it so hard we feared it would break, or that a tree nearby would crash into it.
Just before the power went out I had texted my daughter "It was a dark and stormy night..."
Not until morning did we find the damage all over, like trees falling into houses and stores.

"oh, no, no, no, it's a shipwreck!"
LOL at our house. Poppy, too.
Where are all the people?
Get a population Madison!
"Where are all the people?"
People were underdressed... and it got cold.
The town is teeming with people this weekend, with 30,000 more people here.
Did anyone attempting to use Bank of America on-line banking today experience it being down all day?
Coincidentally, on the day BoA announced a monthly debit card fee.
If so, did anyone hear whether this is the result of a malicious hacking in retribution?
I thought it sounded windy - it's gotten quite chilly here, so I thought it would be so up where you are.
Surprised you two are having ice cream at night in such a chill.
But, if it's Meade's favorite...

Let me guess, Poppy has a Badger sweater.
I hate to say it-
But, I saw Wisconsin's first game.
Steam rolling.
It got worse from there out-
You guys got a team worthy of a National Champion.
Good luck.
Go Big-10!
I am unconvinced that UW can beat a quality team. I may be proven wrong tomorrow.
Assumption: Nebraska is a quality team.

Have you got your raccoon coats?

We've always had omnivores here.
PS Shmendrik, you're a class act.

You're right. I do say Monona. Can't explain that. Didn't notice it while editing or I'd have used a subtitle to make fun of myself..

Pogo, I just got off the phone with a Door County native. He said he had not seen a storm like the one that came through today in forty plus years.
We have multiple trees down in Sister Bay. The fellow reported that he doesn't expect power to be back up for three or four days.

Hey, ESPN College Gameday, live from Madison! Followed by a game in Dallas...
Pogo, I am glad you all are okay!
Thanks, Irene.
