You're right of course. A second gander tells me that spray paint was certianly not involved. The brush is probably sitting in a jar of thinner at this very moment.

First, there are no visible tear like drippings or spatter. Second, you can see an even distribution of paint along the painted pathways, consistent with a spray like pattern.

It doesn't mattress much to me.
An annual rite of spring at college campuses everywhere -- kids vacate their apartments and throw out the twin-sized mattresses they've been using for a year or two.
My son went to graduate school on the other side of the country from the school where he did his undergraduate work and he planned to move up to a larger mattress anyway, but it was nearly impossible to find a charity that would take his old set. Seems a waste somehow.

Next time he should try the local "freecycle" group on yahoo. (Or even craigslist.) That's how we took care of our clean queen mattress set when we replaced it with a newer one.
