This post reminds me of Frogistan. A pleasant place where angry mobs are never found and discouraging words are never heard. Managed news, that's what the world just needs more of.
Just got back from seeing Pat Metheny and his Orchestration project.
Bizarre; fascinating; comical.
He is without question a virtuoso, which isn't to say that the program was musically overwhelming, as Pat has been in the past, principally with the PM Group.
But it was worth the free ticket I got from my brother, and was a resounding answer to the modern overuse of sampling and drum tracks.
April 15th approaches and provides an insight into what is wrong with The Senate. Why have a Senate when the vast majority of peoples taxes are going to the Federal government? Instead of protecting the sovereignty of a state they are simply giving small states outsized rights to spend larger states' money. Either abolish the Senate or repeal the 16th amendment.

You can always do both. Do we really need our own House of Lords?

Are those the actual color values?
If so, very lovely. The duck pond at Haverford College was mostly brown reeds, so I'm a little curious.
Good work today, Madame. Hope you're feeling a little better.

Stickley style.
"Are those the actual color values?"
No. I lowered the "temperture" and reddened the "hue."
Nice
the dangling conversation
We could learn a lot from frogs..
They saw Althouse coming and quiet down so as to make sure not to spit on her ;)

In our neck of the woods the song is sung by Spring Peepers. Tiny little marsh frogs that are hard to locate visually.
If you didn't see one on your walk, Theo stood in as a fine substitute.
Who knew a Chorus of Frogs would activate his resplendently musical croak?

I have never been to Wisconsin, but that clip shows an area that looks very much like areas of my land in Lavaca County, Texas.
That looks nice. We have frogs in our goldfish pond. I think you need salt water for a marsh. That's a wetland, or what used to be called a swamp.
It's Cherokee Marsh, in Madison. A favorite place... year round.
I think Theo broke my record with this one. Hee.
I hope you blog about this. It will be very interesting. Just sayn'
