My wife just finished up another semester teaching western art -- paleolithic to the present in 15 weeks. As usual we debated what should be the final work in the class.
Cindy Sherman was one name we kicked around. This exercise reminds me of Cindy Sherman. She didn't make the cut.
In the end my wife paired up an Andy Goldsworthy photograph with a Damien Hirst shark. Beautiful stuff is still being made. And not.
All you darwinists know the answer: They are all descended from Great Apes swinging in the trees. Now PETA will have to protect them as part of its job description.
Honestly, I thought they looked like computer human models. They all have a distinctly uncanny valley look to them. Close to real, but not quite what they SHOULD look like.

Looks like they all have the exact same eyes to me.
There looks to be some heavy makeup treatment as well. Maybe to hide the red face.
I should have hit the second link before commenting.
Oh look. It's the yearbook at Bruce Vilanch High School.

Upside down
They are actually downside up.
They still all look like Cindy Sherman.
I did not guess what the deal was. But it's interesting.
Gravity is such a drag.
I think Dolly Parton said that.
Reminds me of a group photograph of the guys who started a company that I used to work for.
The photographer asked them all to jump up in unison, and then took the picture in "mid-flight."
The results were quite disconcerting,
almost like jumping off a precipice ;->
Can't help but think that some of them looked kinda weird even before they were hung upside down.
I guess that's one way to get models with high cheek bones.
gosh darn republicans do look alike don't they!

How'd he keep the hat on? And it shows how many people are using gel/hairspray/whatnot. A lot of that hair isn't hanging down.
It does look like they have the same eyes but the "upside downey" tag on the linked page was a pretty good hint.
Next: upside downey nudes.
Doesn't load on Linux (Firefox 3.0).
Stupid Flash.
Stupid people who can't use Flash right.
Aside from being photographed upside-down, you have shitty genetics kicking in to boot.
maybe the face fat sliding up makes them look alike.
