Obama seems to think that he can control it all and make it work
He thinks he can keep interest rates low andfloat trillions in bonds and continue indefinitely to get high offers at bond auctions, and carry out industrial economic policies that pressures bond holders to take below-market losses.
He thinks he can raise taxes and hyper-grow the GDP, and tell us that we’ve over spent with our credit cards, and that we need to keep spending to keep the economic recovery going.
He thinks that he can deficit spend trillions now to get better education and health care, and that the future debt load and inflation won’t just wipe out any real positive net gains in the future, for the kids.
Obama thinks he can protect the high-wage worker's jobs from going overseas and keep the big American companies economically viable, and control the wages of executives and fire the one’s he doesn’t like, and still attract executive talent to the companies that the government now owns, so the tax payers don’t end up owing a dog.
Whatever you may think of Obama's other policies, one thing is clear: a government trying to control everything in the economy has been tried a thousand times before and has never, ever worked.
So now we consigned to sit and wait for Obama's economic dead-chickens to come home to rot.
And its going to be a pretty horrible smell when they come.
Mitt Romney just said GM should be given back to us the taxpayers. I agree- send us all shares in GM, get rid of the car czar and the current board.
Replace the board with a bunch of average Americans who own and drive a car.
Let's say Althouse, Trooper (he needs a 3rd job heh), Fen, Palldian, FLS (for the yucks), a few housewifes, and a few auto plant workers, car salemen and a dealer or two.
Homer Simpson has a proven track record in the automotive business. What, that's a cartoon? Fictional? I guess there might be bit of difference between Homer and other GM managers, but the results so far have been the same.
Make certain [Obama] doesn't run around in East Harlem unidentified...
Shouldn't Rangel also have said with "his gun out... chasing a suspect, [and] failed to identify himself as an officer after he was ordered to drop his weapon"?

If the man can blatantly cheat on his taxes without any major consequences then why the hell would he care about who he offends.
Rangel is one of those congressmen who is going to have his seat until his death or retirement.
Obama attacked in the NYT for running a third world banana republic, albeit by a Republican.
"Race hustler hustles race, again."
Forget it, Jake. it's Chinatown.
Instant solution to injustice in America: all whites go on welfare, converted in a flash to innocent victim status.
Government, all departments at all levels to be manned totally by blacks, incapable of racism and also by definition victims.
Voila: all are innocent victims; none are evil meanies: problem solved.
Obama has not made a single good economic decision yet.
Tis true; tis true.

Rangel should be in jail. But, hey, if you are a Democrat, you can be a tax cheat. Just ask Geitner.

I mean, what is an officer to infer?
I think I see now how this is supposed to work.
White officer mistakenly shoots black officer - question black officer's competence.
Black officer mistakenly shoots white officer - question black officer's competence.
In this case, I guess we can all agree the black officer had it coming to him.
Rangel was being tasteless, but you'll excuse me if I don't get nearly as angry about that than what prompted the tasteless comment.
