The animal is thinking: "Bummer. What's race got to do with it? Now everyone will think I got to be a coyote by affirmative action rather than my own talents."
i'm sure it is just a coincidence but i went out jogging on the lakefront yesterday and today in those exact same colors that guy was wearing. I am sure ann could not have spotted me so she must be trying to tempt my paranoia. I tend to dance at the stop lights, too, because i keep moving to the music in my mp3 player.
My waste is smaller and i am quite a bit taller. Kenny roger's was not there.
As for coyotes they are like my malamute with guard hair and undercoat. The guard hair may be dark colored, but even if you search the internet for black coyotes you will probably find the undercoat has shades of tan.
I don't see either on that animal.
from a canismajor website: The coyote coat has guard hairs to protect him from the weather and a thick undercoat for insulation. Body coat color varies from brownish yellow to reddish gray, with darker colors more common in the northern reaches of the territory. Legs, feet, and ears are rusty, and underparts are whitish. The tail has a black tip. His long legs, pointed muzzle and upright, pointed ears complete the picture.
Not that i am detailed oriented or anything. but nature shall be true to nature or dog will eat dog.
A German Shepard always looks at me like she is smarter and knows whats happening around us better than I do. Yes, like my wife does, but friendlier. Great dog.
Gimme the last bite of the sandwich. You don't need it. Give it to me. Whine. Whine. Creep.Creep. Gimme that last bite. Look at my eyes. Gimme that taste. NOM NOM Gimme the last bite. Who's your new favorite dog? Gimme the last bite. We goin' to your house in Madison? I'll keep off your bed. Gimme that last bite.
Palladian Your Maggie is a mighty cute girl. My friends had a pair of Bostons "Millie" and "Tank" - and the various grunts, squeaks, snorts, and wheezes were all part of the charm I suppose, and they are a great breed. But the gas they would pass was indescribable and would literally make you run for cover.

Weird! My mother's ex-husband has a Boston Terrier named Millie, and I know of another Boston named Millie too...
The Boston Terrier is my favorite breed. They are a little noisy but that's definitely part of the charm. Maggie had to have laser surgery on her nose because she had Brachycephalic Syndrome, caused by a combination of her short muzzle and very small nares (nose holes). After her nose job she's been much happier and breathes much better!
The gas can be controlled (somewhat) by discriminating choice of diet. Short-muzzled breeds often have a gas problem because they swallow a lot more air than longer muzzled dogs. But I love most of the short-muzzled bulldog-related breeds so I must tolerate it.
I have a dog that looks nearly identical to yours, down to the white spots on the hind paws. We dont really know what breed or mix of breeds he is as he is a rescue. What is your dog? I am dying to know!
A week ago my 2 kids(15) and myself saw a pure black coyote stroll through my property in Elizabeth colorado. I have heard they are very raw but I scoped him for awhile and I'am sure. Has anyone heard of such a beast? This was NOT a dog and we are getting ALOT of coyotes lately. I still have a couple of cats left though. P.S. He was beutiful!

Black Beauty.
Chester has beauty of form.
Two Qualities, One Dog
The S curve of beauty, black and sleek
And an upturned look, mild and meek.
He's either looking at a leash, a ball, or a scoobie snack. I know that look.

dark grey coyote? maybe, okay, but a jet black coyote is extremely rare.
that's like a guy in a tshirt in a laundry mat without any whiskers.
it belongs in the what's just not right about this setting.
Only one thing more rare than this black coyote would be that middle aged guy in a blue shirt dancing with Kenny Roger's dance partner.
