Jesus' claim was to be the Judeo Messiah (King) was the Crime for which the Romans killed him. Every New Testament book was written by Jews to Jews or to some Gentiles that Peter and Paul, (both Jews), were lead to accept into the Judeo Covenant. so that's about it.
