There is a film called "Idiocracy" it's a bit uneven but worth seeing. It depicts an ordinary guy (actually chosen for his average-ness) who is frozen accidentally 500 years and awakens in a world to find that he is the smartest man. Everyone is stupid, crude and self-indulgent and the hit TV show is "Ass". Our hero's brilliance is discovered by the President of the US who is Rick James meets the WWF. This could happen in 25 years or even less.

I went away to my blog and wrote more.

I know on one level he was just making a pithy point, spinning Obama in a particular way the better to glory in his wonderfulness, but, on another, uh, ew. Just...ew.

He's right about the liberal white people never having been to church until Obama. It's so amusing to see people that I know have nothing but dismissive contempt for religion getting their church on - totally oblivious to the fact that this is why those ignorant, uneducated folks go to church in the first place.
