Radio alert.

I'll be on the "Week in Review" show with Joy Cardin on Wisconsin Public Radio at 8 AM Central Time t0morrow morning. That's 9 AM ET.

Go here to listen on-line live. You can call in. We'll be talking about whatever news stories of the last week people want to talk about. And you'll be able to listen to the archived show here, later.

ADDED: The other guest — the "left" to my (supposed) "right" — is former Wisconsin Attorney General Peg Lautenschlager. I've been on with her before. It should be really lively — especially with this past week of news.

Maybe you could ask her how she feels about State Rep Jason Fields getting busted for DUI. Fields was one of the state legislators that encouraged Kathleen Falk to run against Lautenschlager in the primary because of Lautenschlager's DUI.

I think you should mention that you're in NYC where it isn't snowing.

Ann Althouse म्हणाले...

Actually, I'm in Madison. I'll be in the studio.

Ann Althouse म्हणाले...

James... awkward!

MadisonMan म्हणाले...

Well, you're lucky to be here to enjoy winter's last hurrah then!

Simon म्हणाले...

Alas, I will be on the road traveling to a FedSoc event, so won't be able to listen live. I'll catch it later.

Don't forget to give your brackets for American Idol. I know you had Amanda in the office pool so you have to come up with a new final four.

You misused ``in the tank for him'' a little - it carries a connotation of selling out something not sold out in polite society.

MadisonMan म्हणाले...

I slept through most of it. Oh well, it's archived.

Enjoyed the show. There seem to be fewer silly callers than usual. And I thought the "Child molester" ad was too funny.

That attorney general babe sounds like a real stiff. I bet she uses hookers too!

You never know about your goodytwoshoes good government attorney general types.

The defense of the troops was nice, if alarming to the left.

The reason the troops honored is that they feel called on and they go, which is the movement of morality itself.

They don't get honored for getting wounded, but for going. They all get honored.

There's a huge confusion made on this in the media, which is a step on the way towards troops as victims, which is the only way they're uncomplicated enough for propaganda.

A troop who goes to be honored, in fact, is going for the wrong reason. He goes because he feels called on.

In fact veterans will, as always, be quickly forgotten. Most of them, being of good character, like it that way. It makes the point better.
