"Okay, I'm putting my Nicorette back in."
You know, I like all of these individuals better in their off-camera stuff than what they do when they think a million people are looking.

I'll have to take a fresh look at Anthrax Annie (askance perhaps) and O'Really looks typically petulant. Otherwise that was fun.
I loved hearing Nicorette Larson sing Lotta Love. (Rotta Rove?)
What's the deal with the Adam's apple?
That Ann Coulter...she needs a sandwich.
Paging Maxine.
Not here?
Okay, I'll say it for her: Coulter does that same stopping halfway around the eye with her eye liner thing as Althouse does.
B-a-a-a-d (I guess).

She's a he?

"Some experts speculate that, as in schizophrenia, nicotine use may be a form of self-medication because of its specific effects on the brain; further research is necessary."
I never saw that video of Bush before. If I had I probably would have voted for him instead of Gore that first time.
...as in schizophrenia, nicotine use may be a form of self-medication...
Huh?
How long are you supposed to stay on Nicorette after you quit smoking? Seems like Coulter's been quitting smoking for about three years. Is that how those drugs are supposed to work?
I'm probably among the last people who quit smoking before drugs like that came on the market. If it'd been me on that clip, I would have been madly chewing carrots and celery.
Anyway, I think Harry Shearer, a radio hero since the late 60s, has faded into irrelevance. At one time, his clips of anchorpersons talking into a camera when they weren't on the air -- primping, cussing out staff, or just staring blankly -- were revelatory. Now, as Althouse suggests, they are actually kind of humanizing.
They're sane off camera because they're not talking (down) to their target soap opera narrative audience.
Imus was on nicorette for 20 years or something, then quit recently. Of course he completely wears panties recently too.

I don't think that's true. Harry Shearer is one of people behind the Simpsons, as well as Spinal Tap and that whole string of Christopher Guest mocumentaries. He's still pretty relevant, to the extent that word makes sense in a Hollywood comedy world context.
It's official. I've got a thing for older blonde women.

But, do they have a thing for you?
And, what is this thing called, love?
Ann Coulter is hot.
I would definitely pork her.
Man, that O'Reilly—he really ought to make "Walking on Sunshine" his theme music...
You're only supposed to chew it for a few seconds, then tuck it between lip and gum so that the nicotine can be absorbed by your gum and lip tissues.
Most of the nicotine she's releasing is just going to her stomach, highly diluted with saliva, where is absorption is probably going to be much less effective.
Barbara Walters and Keith Olbermann think Harry Shearer is not only relevant but "hip"
I think he's almost as wild and funny as Robin Williams.
What I found interesting in these clips is how important everyone of these poseurs felt their work was.
Hi Ann,
You think Bill O. was bad here.
Take a look at this clip.
This is the Infamous Bill Bonds here from the Detroit Area. He had a bit part in the planet of the apes, back in the day, when he was a reporter in California.
Anyhow, this is him, trying to do a "Teaser" for the local ABC affiliate here in Detroit.
Warning: This Clip has some seriously dicey language in it.
here you go, Enjoy:
