Bands used to be ashamed to sell their songs to advertisers.
Now, they do it and brag about it. For a lot of bands, use in TV ads are the only exposure they can get, since radio has become so formularized.
But who are they substituting for?
Obviously, for the Reps, it's Reagan.
For the Dems...it's JFK (Obama)? Bill (Hillary)? Strawberry Shortcake (Silky Pony)?
