The tiny dogs of New York.

I typo'd "tiny gods of New York." That last post fried my brain.

Anyway, there's the woman with the tiny dog and tiny waist in Brooklyn Heights:

And the woman with the tiny dog in SoHo:

She's wearing flip-flops on Prince Street and those midlength pants we used to call pedal-pushers.

Tiny gods of New York. I wonder what they would be....

Does the woman with the tiny dog in SoHo have a tiny waist too? Or is she just a tiny woman with a tiny dog and no waist?

Well, one advantage, if you're going to have a dog, to having a tiny dog, is that you have tiny waste.

Tiny gods of New York?

How about William Safire, Maureen Dowd and Barbara Walters?

Are you talking about the previous post where you talked about the picture of "God the bounty hunter"?

Small dogs of Ohio.

The only acceptable dog among those is the Boston Terrier. Cute. But he'll get a little bigger, that's a puppy.

Why is the Boston terrier the only acceptable one? The terrier comes in many other highly acceptable forms, notably the West Highland terrier. Westies are small in size but too big in spirit to be anyone's urban lapdog.

I see runt dogs like that and all I can think of is Fat Bastard in Austin Powers:

Get in my belly!!!

The Coonhound and Foxhound start off quite acceptably tiny. Then they become real dogs' dogs. Sweet-natured, loyal, and relatively free from congenital health problems. Bred by Washington and Jefferson, they wouldn't make very good urban pets unless you live in a city with miles and miles of fields, forests, and streams.

I remember pedal pushers. Were pedal pushers the same pants as clam diggers?

The Brooklyn Heights photo is exceedingly close to my apartment. Please never put my photo on the Internet! You don't know who I am, so maybe don't be a rude person and leave random people alone when they are walking their dogs. Cheers!

The last pic looks like a boxer pup.

To candidates for tiny gods of NY:

The glitterati, all of them.

Outer borough 300 pound guys named Tiny -- who are connected.

Outside of a dog, a book is man's best friend. Inside of a dog it's too dark to read.

Didja hear about the dyslexic, agnostic insomniac?

He lay awake all night wondering if there really was a dog.
