Whether Trump actually called Sundar Pichai about the Atlantic is another question. Grok puts the odds at about 25%, which seems remarkably precise for a conversation nobody has confirmed.
Maybe the real distinction isn't between people who get Trump's jokes and people who don't. It's between jokes that remain jokes and jokes that become executive orders.

Lessee. Iran got no nukes and can't currently make any. Iran has zero oil revenue. More oil is moving through the strait than before our war with Iran. And this last bit is very important. The US is now the underwriter for petroleum shipments through the gulf. Depriving Lloyds of it's gulf oil insurance revenue and thus British political leverage. China is paying market price for its oil now.

When demand remains constant, but the supply is diminished then prices go up. The supply of crude oil is abundant. The ability to change that crude oil into diesel fuel is diminished due to the lack of refining capability. To make it worse not all refineries can process every type of crude oil. I can get into it more but first you have to understand basic supply and demand.
What? Did you think it comes from the ground ready to go into your tank?
I SO WISH Trump would make a big fuss over how great the Subaru Outback is as a car. He should buy one for every family member, and begin wearing Subaru corporate t-shirts and hats. Watch every idealistic progressive squirm over whether to sell their Subaru. Then, a few months later Trump changes his mind and says the car sucks. One can dream.
