On the brighter side McConnell's long absence might have hurt the people of Kentucky were it not for the fact that the senate has moved at the same rate.as a glacier this term, so it didn't matter that much.

I have no idea how this Mitch replacement thing works in Kentucky, but I'm assuming Beshear does't get to have a say. Otherwise Ach would not be in favor of getting rid of Mitch before a vote from the pro-DJT Kentucky electorate.

McConnell fanboys keep bringing this up. McConnell did NOT keep Garland off the SCOTUS. He delayed the confirmation vote till after the election. Had hilllary won - Garland would be on the SCOTUS. And who voted for Garland as AG? Why Mitch the Bitch McConnell.
And who did everything he could to defeat Trump in 2016? Mitch the bitch. McConnell demanded Trump drop out in October 2016 and give the POTUS to Hillary.
McConnell delayed Garlands nomination. Trump is the one who kept him off the Court.
Mitch the Bitch also went on in TV in 2017 and told republican voters to not support Roy Moore in Alabama. We gave up a Senate seat - when we had a paper thin majority. Mitch the Bitch also refused to give money to any number of tea party or conservative Senate candidates over the years, instead giving large sums to Lisa Murky in Alaska and RINO's in the Northeast (all of whom lost).
I could go on and on. But no matter what he did, the McConnell fan-boys love him. Incredibly, many of these fan-boys are not Democrats.

I've seen people like McConnell in the nursing homes. The body is ok, but there's not really all there. They cant speak or think properly. Its quite sad. But definitely preferable to dying of a painful terminal illness.
Those who die suddenly and without warning are blessed by God.
I mean c'mon guys. Are we really supposed to believe that Mitch is in "rehabilitation" when he hasnt said one word to the press or public in months?
He's a politician. Since this thing happened, all he's had to do is call up some reporter (Mitch loves liberal Reporters) and say "Hey, had some problems. Getting better. Will be doing what I can in the Senate. Thanks for your concern."
Instead all we get is photos of mute smiling blank faced Mitch.
