"The Seinfeld cast refused to film this episode. So we animated it instead."
"Jerry and and Julia read this one scene where she has the gun and she's holding in her hand and she says to Jerry in the car, 'All right, Jerry, where do you want it? The Kennedy, the McKinley?' And she could barely get it out of her mouth. And I used to sit right next to Juliet... and I remember her saying it and just looking at me with the most pathetic eyes and then looking at Jerry... and she went, 'I'm not doing this. I'm not doing this.'"

Our country is so safe for rich actors they just can't really act like adults.
Vandelay industries. T-shirt. lol.
Abortive ideation is not entertaining.
Peachy kids you not
"Gun" covers a lot of ground. It needs clarification. If Elaine buys a Vandelay Industries gun for protection, is that protection in the same sense that many latex products are for protection?
Importer- exporter.
LOL.
Elaine uses the sponge, which is apparently the preferred prophylactic device.
But no scalpels, which are a cruel and unusual punishment... at The Twilight Fringe.
The internet informs me that "Seinfeld has a mixed but generally positive reception among Millennials, with strong nostalgia for some and criticism for others" so I'm going to file that under ask-a-stupid-question-get-a-stupid-answer.
Has Vandelay Industries now replaced Acme products?

I started watching that a few days ago but I didn't make it till the end.

She ran out of sponges, and then she had to decide if any suitor was "sponge-worthy."
Julia was right. Elaine would never have said that. And that animation is just dumb.
They said in the video that this was supposed to be a second season episode. They also called Kramer "Cosmo Kramer", but Cosmo wasn't revealed until a later season.
I agree with the host: the episode itself was under developed and scheduled too early in the series to get a pass.
One of these days, Jerry. Pow.
I watced it and it wasn't good. Not because of gun talk or play but the script was bad and not true to the what the charachters would do.
The script doesn't work with the characters. Elain would never want a gun, the other characters would resist it forcefully, and she would never get one in NYC anyway. Julia is very much Elain in this regard, which is why both would never do this. The whole idea, particularly the fake threat to Jerry just isn't funny, especially to people who know and carry guns. It's obvious why it was scrapped. It's not about the gun. It's just not good.
Amexpat, We were mind welding there for a minute.
If I have to be shot, I'll take the Trump.
The first one, not any future ones.
In 2029, Trump should be happiest person in history to lose their job.
Ass sass in a nation.
Manure smile 😃
After listening to 10 minutes of the recreation, I think the real objection is that it was terrible.
You need the actual actors to pull this off. People laugh at the way Michael "Kramer" Richards came into the apartment. We hear laughing when the cartoon character comes in, but nothing actually funny happens then.
It feels like a draft. The episode gets punched up through the week.
The problem with the episode as presented is that there is a laugh track and the laughs happen when the animated characters aren't doing anything funny.
It wasn't "about nothing" and it wasn't well-written.
There were some funny moments when I laughed, so it wasn’t all bad. The voice actor portraying George probably came the closest. Overall, though, I agree with most of the criticism here.
yeah - no good on this one.
And Jerry says, "So, what do you call your new gun, Elaine?" And she says, "The Aristocrat !"
