The BLS says prices are up 30% since the end of 2019, just before Covid kicked in. Had the Fed hit their 2% target over this same period prices would be up just 15%. So they've missed target by 100% over the last six and half years. Seems bad. If this translated to the stock market, the S&P 500 would be at 5400 instead of 7700, which is still well above historical growth rates. The County Board stood up to their corrupt former County Attorney and rejected his incorrect legal opinion.They also were not intimidated by a possible $19m judgment threatened against them by a giant corporation.

Owen Morgan went to jail for his role in a scheme to forge signatures to put presidential candidates Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton and John Edwards on the Indiana ballot in the 2008 primary election. In 2013, he was convicted of two counts of felony conspiracy to commit petition fraud and two counts of felony conspiracy to commit forgery.
In other words Barack Obama would not have been on the ballot without illegal tampering.

I've never understood why we don't do very simple things such as using a regular jetway into the terminal building. Or using stairs with a canopy.

Do keep in mind, however, that a lot of AF1 arrivals are done in remote areas of the airport. No cover/concealment available for bad guys, and the press are searched before getting trucked out there.

According to Ryan McBeth,(see what I did there, rich), The Chinese are seriously rethinking their military stance vis a vis Taiwan. Primarily because they are uncertain if any of their deterrents actually will work in combat.

The western hemisphere doesn't need any of the oil product that go through the Strait of Hormuz. In fact we just found a few tens of trillions of cubic feet of natural gas and a few millions of barrels of crude in Texas. In a place we haven't looked before.; 8/13/26, 10:10 AM
