The red glow of the photograph is transfixing. If you can tear your eyes away from it and look to the text, you see "Mike Collins" and "KKK and Nazi." Emotional tainting accomplished. There's little potential for your mind to travel on to pull out "former... staffer" and "what appear to be," let alone to click through to investigate whether there's really anything to damage Collins.

The ex-staffer who posted the Nazi and KKK images, Preston Parra, 24, interned for Collins for two months in 2024 before working as a contractor for his leadership PAC the next year.... In December of that year, Parra celebrated seeing Collins signs in Georgia, in one post saying: “let’s get that man elected.” A few hours earlier, he posted “DEUTCHLAND UBER ALLES,” a song lyric that became associated with Nazi Germany.
Parra, who recently described himself as a “twink fascist” on his X account until changing his biography and making his posts private on Aug. 24, is a conservative political operative whose consulting site touts his ability to marshal a network of influencers to boost Republicans.
The Daily Mail reported this year that Parra posted frequent crotch shots and a photo of himself that he captioned “racist.” In an interview with The Post, Parra said that the KKK post — which he said he made using Grok’s AI feature — and much of the other content on his X account are “satirical” and that he considers himself a provocateur.
Collins was not aware of Parra’s personal X account when he worked for the lawmaker because he had made it private, Parra said. “What, is there supposed to be some kind of CIA background check?” he said. Parra said he is not a white supremacist because it goes against his religion and he has a Colombian father. “I do think that the white race contributes more to the world,” he said.
The image of the swastika, which he posted in July, was made out of the word “twink,” a slang term referring to a young and slim gay man....
Was Parra even a real Collins supporter or was he someone who wanted to hurt Collins?

Some "Republicans" see a pattern. LOL. You always find a "Republican" - usually in DC or in the establishment that will race to the nearest reporter and throw another Republican under the bus.
This stuff wouldn't work if people just smarten up and stop caring about the "KKK" which doesnt exist and hasnt been a force in the USA for 60 years. Or "Nazis" which disappeared 80 years ago.
If want Deutchland uber alles - its on youtube and its the German national anthem. So, I guess no one on Collins' staff should listen to it - otherwise they'd be "nazis" and "Republicans" would be "Concerned".
I'm always astounded how biased the WaPo is, and how it acts like an arm of the DNC during campaign season. But evidently the DC Republicans don't care and never say anything. In fact, you've had Republicans like Mitt Romney defending the WaPo when it smeared and attacked Republicans running for office.

It's not just "any" criticism of Israel that justifies the accusation. It's criticism that says, in effect, that Israel is being too hard on its enemies. That criticism undermines Western support for Israel, while encouraging those who want to see it destroyed. That, in turn, is antisemitic because there are only something like 15 million Jews in the whole world, roughly half of whom reside in Israel. If your criticism helps normalize the idea that the State of Israel doesn't deserve to exist, or is unworthy of being defended, it threatens the eventual survival of the Jews as a distinct people.
