The official weather says it's a 108 here now, but my home thermometer says 118 in the shade, and that feels more accurate. That's a brilliant week for anyone to have. It only cost 300 billion in Gulf State money (reparations) to Iran to get them to agree to sign the deal. The timing was like a crescendo. Mike (MJB Wolf) said...: Re the UFC being “primal.” The kid quoted has identified the essence of all organized sports: sporting events are all ritualized combat, where the violence is minimized and in many cases transferred to an inanimate object and the opponents must overcome each other through physical feats like running and leaping etc. Only the fighting sports distill the ritualized violence down to a one-on-one physical combat.
