Insanity in UK exceeds even that of USA. British man is handcuffed and allowed to die by Three UK policewomen. Reason? He had been accused of "racism" by Sikh. The Sikh had stabbed him with his 8 inch ceremonial knife but said the British man "Insulted him". Incredibly, while average UK citizens are banned from carrying knives, Sikh's can carry their 8 inch knives because its their "religion".

In another case, 2 Pakistanis assaulted several police at an airport. The police women got a broken nose, the policeman is under charges since he kicked one of the suspects in the head while he was constrained. Insane.

One gets the impression that UK police are 50 percent female, with the other 50 percent consisting of middle aged men, dweebs who couldn't beat up a 12 y/o, and untrained bullies.

Yes, the district court judges are running the executive branch, with the approval of the Republican Senate. Thune and the R's are also blocking Trump's appointees and refusing to pass any of the bills passed by the House. Thune should go. In fact, they all should go.

The judge who ruled against Trump was not only an "obama Judge".

He's Christopher Cooper, the same judge who sabotaged the trial of Clinton campaign lawyer Michael Sussmann, blocked January 6 defendants from accessing GoFundMe funds, and sentenced others under the totally discredited 18 U.S.C. 1512.

Cooper is also married to Amy Jeffress, Joe Biden's personal attorney and counselor to Eric Holder. And to complete the circle, Cooper and Jeffress were married by Merrick Garland.

Yet, when the, let’s just out of fairness and stooping to your level say, your Repuke buddies were screaming bloody murder of gas hikes under Biden. And in fairness, those “leftards” were on GWB like ugly on an ape when gas spiked during his term.

Now, anyone of reasonable intellect and not cultishly glazed over knows that a sitting president has never had any actual control of gas prices.

Until now.

This is a different animal.

Trump did that. All on his own. He did that. And he’s made it clear he doesn’t give a rat’s ass how much his constituents suffer- doesn’t even bother to think about it.

As bright a lawyer as he is, Eisen hasn't learned yet that fighting dirty is what offends people, not having Trump's name on display. It will get him more 'Trump'.

I had a quick look at the S-1 and it's funny how this is covered in the media. It is not really a "SpaceX" IPO. It is the IPO of a cash incinerating AI company with an (excellent) small space company attached. If we strip away the sci-fi rhetoric, there is a real business here — and it’s called Starlink. I would like to see a sum of parts valuation split.

The risk section runs 38 pages. Some of the disclosures are unintentionally funny. The company notes that “in-orbit manufacturing, passenger transport to the Moon, an established human presence or gateway hub on the Moon, passenger and cargo transport to Mars, energy production on the Moon or Mars, manufacturing capabilities on the Moon or Mars, and asteroid mining do not exist today.”

The filing also acknowledges that orbital data centers involve “significant technical complexity and unproven technologies”and “in the harsh and unpredictable environment of space” face “a wide and unique range of space-related risks.” You get the point.

SpaceX is expected to offer its stock at roughly 100 times projected 2025 revenue—a valuation multiple with little precedent that requires significant leaps of faith on both the AI and space theses.

The game SpaceX (and soon OpenAI and Anthropic) is playing: exploit manipulated index listing rules to suck trillions out of passive investment funds.

So I think we should not pretend that any Musk business has anything to do with underlying fundamentals. Musk equities are solely driven by sentiment.

Maybe calling it "solely sentiment" dismisses the real achievements that make the bets plausible for believers. It's more accurate to say they are priced for perfection on ambitious futures.

"Do you remember how they reacted to the Tea Party? I sure do, because I was there—because I’m old. You might think, if you have no understanding of old-school Republican politics, that they would happily embrace a popular movement to do all the things they’d been promising to do for years and years and years. But that rests on a false premise: that they actually wanted to do the things they had been promising. They didn’t. They just wanted the people who wanted those things done to vote for them. So when the Tea Party rose up, they fought it—they were as much an enemy as the Democrats. The GOP stiffs treated these earnest, eager conservative activists like a tubby herpetic with Peyronie’s disease crashing an orgy (which is an apt metaphor because a lot of them were freaky perverts—“wide stance,” anybody?)."

I stopped following the Ukraine war because it was too heartbreaking. Month by month last year Ukraine lost territory. Cities, civilian targets, were bombed with missiles and drones. Our moral betters ignored the attacks on Ukranian civilians and concentrated on accusations against Israel because they haven't the kind of morality that would stand up against either antisemitism or a forgotten people. But the Ukranians fought on. Moreover they seem to have developed a successful 21st century war strategy, centered on drones and electronic warfare - spoofing and that - which those parts of Europe, such as Sweden and Poland, which border Russia, are assisting with funding and the development of certain kinds of planes and drone strategies. And so beginning in 2026 the Ukranians have been taking back territory and some parts of Europe have taken up their responsibility for the defense of Europe.
Europe and its defense is not our responsibility. It has as many people and as much wealth. But traditional heavyweights like England are still busy with arrests for free speech while their armed forces rot. And that's pretty much where not only England but the whole of Europe has been for some time. It's just that now that isn't the whole story. Out on the eastern borderlands where the Russian threat is clear there's responsibility and an effective new strategy. At least, I hope so.
