"It will be a Document respected like no other that has ever been signed, anywhere in the World. Its level of Importance and Prestige will be unparalleled!"

Writes Trump, just now on Truth Social.

He's "mandatorily requesting":
Negotiations with the Islamic Republic of Iran are proceeding nicely! It will only be a Great Deal for all or, no Deal at all — Back to the Battlefront and shooting, but bigger and stronger than ever before — And nobody wants that! During my discussions on Saturday with President Mohammed bin Salman Al Saud, of Saudi Arabia, Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, of The United Arab Emirates, Emir Tamim bin Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, Prime Minister Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim bin Jaber Al Thani, and Minister Ali al-Thawadi, of Qatar, Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir Ahmed Shah, of Pakistan, President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, of Türkiye, President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, of Egypt, King Abdullah II, of Jordan, and King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, of Bahrain, I stated that, after all the work done by the United States to try and pull this very complex puzzle together, it should be mandatory that all of these Countries, at a minimum, simultaneously, sign onto the Abraham Accords. Those Countries discussed are Saudi Arabia, The United Arab Emirates (already a Member!), Qatar, Pakistan, Türkiye, Egypt, Jordan, and Bahrain (already a Member!). It may be possible that one or two have a reason for not doing so, and that will be accepted, but most should be ready, willing, and able to make this Settlement with Iran a far more Historic Event than it would, otherwise, be. The Abraham Accords have proven to be, for the Countries involved (The United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Morocco, Sudan, and Kazakhstan), a Financial, Economic, and Social BOOM, even during this time of Conflict and War, with the current Members never even suggesting leaving, or taking so much as even a pause. The reason for this is that the Abraham Accords have been great for them, and will be even better for everybody, and bring true Power, Strength, and Peace to the Middle East for the first time in 5,000 years. It will be a Document respected like no other that has ever been signed, anywhere in the World. Its level of Importance and Prestige will be unparalleled! It should start with the immediate signing by Saudi Arabia and Qatar, and everybody else should follow suit. If they don’t, they should not be part of this Deal in that it shows bad intention. In speaking to numerous of the Great Leaders mentioned above, they would be honored, as soon as our Document is signed, to have the Islamic Republic of Iran as part of the Abraham Accords. Wow, now that would be something special! This will be the most important Deal that any of these Great, but always in Conflict Countries, will ever sign. Nothing in the past, or in the future, will surpass it. Therefore, I am mandatorily requesting that all Countries immediately sign the Abraham Accords, and that, if Iran signs its Agreement with me, as President of the United States of America, it would be an Honor to have them also be part of this unparalleled World Coalition. The Middle East would be United, Powerful, and Economically Strong, like perhaps no other area, anywhere in the World! By copy of this TRUTH, I am asking my Representatives to begin, and successfully complete, the process of signing these Countries into the already Historic Abraham Accords. Thank you for your attention to this matter!

I love the Abraham Accords. He's roping in the rest of the Middle East to recognize Israel. And Iran too has the opportunity to recognize Israel. That will save Iranian face, and Saudi Arabian face, and everybody's face.

The fear is that Islamic terrorists will assassinate the leaders (like Sadat was killed). So, by encouraging unity in the Middle East, this will ensure peace in the Middle East.

It sounds like Iran is the last hold-out. We'll see how long they can hold out. Amazing if he pulls this off.

“The worst thing you can possibly do in a deal is seem desperate to make it. That makes the other guy smell blood, and then you’re dead. The best thing you can do is deal from strength, and leverage is the biggest strength you can have.” That was the principle Trump (or his ghostwriter) set out in 'The Art of the Deal'.

Perhaps Trump should have re-read his own book before posting on April 5: “Open the Fuckin’ Strait, you crazy bastards, or you’ll be living in Hell.”

To the untrained eye, that demand sounded just a touch desperate — particularly when Trump failed to follow through on his threats to unleash hellish retaliation on Iran.

Quite an achievement to invade Iran with the worlds strongest army and leave the enemy stronger than you found it. He really is a unique talent.

None of this should come as a surprise. Trump’s reputation as a property developer was never built on being a brilliant deal-maker. His real skill was knowing when to break a deal he’d already signed and force the other side back to the table. That tactic works in real estate. In international affairs, it works roughly once. After he used it on Canada and Mexico over their trade agreement, the rest of the world saw him coming from a mile away. Add in the fact that, to put it politely, he is no longer as mentally sharp as he once was, and the outcome was predictable.

In a battle of wits, Trump showed up unarmed.

Trump views free commerce and rising standards of living as the moderating influence across the Middle East. He also seems content to allow those forces of change within Iran to work-out its domestic problems internally with the influence but not direct intervention of US ground forces, provided Iran behaves internationally and gives up their offensive missile and nuclear ambitions. That being the proper scope of US foreign policy.

All of which dovetails with his larger strategic goal of weakening China's regional and global influence, obviating the need for huge military outlays for traditional forces like multiple new, expensive and ultimately vulnerable carrier groups.

It's necessary to bring the other Islamic states in, because radical Islamic terrorism is a problem throughout the region. We don't just have a problem with Shiites (Iran) but also Sunnis elsewhere. Trump has divided Iran from the rest of the Middle East, causing the regime to fire on all it's neighbors. And now Trump is calling for unity in the region. God bless, I hope he pulls this off.

Separating religion and state is a bad idea.

A Nation will never be stable without religion and an Objective Source of Morality and a common social fabric.

Secular nations are always murderous and violent. Once a nation kills god it becomes god and that is when the killing starts.

I pledge allegiance to the United States of America and to the Republic for which it stands, one nation, under god, indivisible, with liberty peace and justice for all.

The concept of "Separation of Church and State" came later from atheists that want to murder people.

The goal of the founders was that the State could not impose or control religion. The church was always free to do what it wanted. People would never have to listen to the state with regard to religion.

Of course atheists being the amoral murderers they have always turned out to be twisted this into the concept of separation and went on a pogrom to attack religion in society.

We are a protestant christian nation. Protestant Christianity is the only religion that can produce a free high trust society in the world right now.

If we're talking in English, and we wish to refer to the one and only sole supreme being, creator of the universe, we don't really have another word other than "God". The same is true of Hebrew with "El" and Hebrew with "Allah".

So it makes a lot more sense to say that Muslims are correct that there is only one supreme being who created the universe - - it's just that they are desperately wrong about what He is like, what He has said into to whom, how we were supposed to act, etc.

And You know what word Arabic speaking Christians use when referring to God? That's right, Allah.

They already have. The Israeli government is secular. It is a parliamentary democracy, so the minority of the population that is Jewish and religious has some influence on the laws, but it is not governed by Jewish law (unlike the Muslim states that impose Sharia). Otherwise, the only important respect in which it is a Jewish state is in its immigration policies. They're not using language as a tool for conveying understanding, they're using it as a tool of subjugation, which is what I believe you're saying here:

"They are debasing you at an individual level and forcing you to act like a malleable member of a collective."

Israel has Rabbis sitting in its Parliment. It shuts down for the Sabbbath. No one who has converted to Christianity and being a practicing Catholic ( and renounced Judaism) has been allowed to become an Israeli citizen with a few exceptions here and there.

If you want to claim Israel is not religious state, then its a racist one. Only those with Jewish DNA can be citizens. Those with Jewish DNA are given privilages over those who do not.

Its also brings up the question - are Rabbis religous leaders or tribal leaders? If there tribal it explains why we have a Rabbi owning Porn Hub. And why other Rabbis being more concerned with Politics than Judaism.

No doubt someone with tell me they're both - and neither. Which is what you usually get when you try to discuss the Jewish Religion.

The UJC in the USA claimed for years "hey Jews aren't a race - you antisemite, we're a religion". Now its "Israelis are a race, not a Religion". Its a dessert topping and a floor wax.

Why don't you just program a macro for your keyboard saying "I HATE the jooos!!!" and be done with it?

It would save everybody a lot of time.

This is completely wrong and ignorant. If your Mom's Jewish, you have a right to return to Israel. And anybody can become a citizen of Israel, and immigrate to Israel, if they want to. Israel regulates immigration, as all countries do. But it's allowed.

A sizable number of Israeli citizens are not Jews. The Arab Minority in Israel and the Knesset Elections

We have ministers in congress and senate. We've had ordained and active catholic priests.

House and senate shut down for Lords Day (Sunday) until the 70s most businesses did too.

It's almost like RCOcean II tried to become an Israeli citizen, and they wouldn't let him.

That explains a lot.

just a note: The US is overlooking a big story: The dog that didn't bark.
There are 1.5 million Muslims who safely traveled to Saudi for the yearly Hajj pilgrimage. That means the airports are open and that unlike in the past the Iranians haven't sent in terrorists to disturb what is going on.
and then there is this: the Mullah in charge of Iran is busy tweeting that Muslims should join the war against the infidels. Guess he doesn't want peace... but more importantly Iran can still use X.
