I don’t think I’ve ever seen an attack ad that comes off as an endorsement like this one https://t.co/MU0rAHM0Gc

It is absolutely a pro-Pratt ad, and clever.
Hilarious! Definitely came across as an endorsement… you’ll always be able to identify that ‘rat voter base by their extended hands, palms raised.
The irony of Anthropogenic Influencers using percolating prompts as modulated, constructed models.
If the people who paid for and produced the ad are authentically Democrats, then the most logical conclusion here is that the ad is designed to get Pratt to the general election heads up against either of the two Democrat front runners so that it is easier for one of those frontrunners to win the general election. Who has this labor federation endorsed on the Democrat side- Bass or the other communist?
Paid for by a Union, seems legit. Will appeal to many left leaning, well off and sympathetic people.
Avg paycheck to paycheck, not so much
Yeah, I kept thinking "You say that like it's a bad thing?"
So which is it? Do we know for sure?
Cuz it makes me want to move to LA and vote for Pratt.
"We are a federation of over 300 affiliated union and labor organizations representing more than 800,000 members, each with their own unique story and background. We stand united in our mission to build a movement for justice committed to protecting the rights of working people and improving the lives of our families and communities."
"LA is on the right track" he says. Just needs another 50,000 drugged up homeless bums in the streets, another Billion dollars of taxpayer money stolen by fraud, and a few more entire towns wiped off the map by lesbian-led firefighting and prevention. Si se puede!!!
I picture a recently mugged intern drafting the script for this ad.
@Yancy Ward: Unrig LA that posted this agrees with you: And yeah, I don't want to speak to Fed's intent, but the more you listen to it the more it screams bait and can't be understood as anything else but bait that will be targeted to conservative audiences to boost Pratt (in the short term at least).
Related: I live in an area of Pennsylvania that is right now, prior to Tuesday primary, being massively targetted with mailers, online, and TV ads from an organization called "Lead Left PAC". The mailers give an address in Sarasota FL. Their message is that 2 of the Democrat candidates for congress are actually anti-abortion, pro-gun, Maga plants, while another candidate is a good guy.
The idea seems to be to sow confusion. The LA ad is at least clever and fun ("wants to hire more police instead of social workers"). What their trying to feed me is crude.
Both are manipulative, and indicate disrespect for voters and democracy. Spare me comments about Democrat manipulative ads, I agree. These manipulations are under a false flag.
Well...it would seem like it has to be a clever pro-Pratt ad. But then, this is California. And the progressives out there do think that their course is true and correct, even as those who can are leaving.
The democrat party is a corrupt shit show.
and!

"The American Left has created a permission structure that says it’s basically OK to wantonly murder wealthy whites, Zionist Jews, Republicans, and others who refuse to get in line with their plans to remake the country.
This is a big problem."
As a resident of Los Angeles, I regret to inform you that the ad in question will be perceived by the majority of voters as an attack ad.
Things might start getting better. The arrival of a California edition of the NY Post has given the many former subscribers to the LA Times a chance to read a newspaper that they can agree with.
"LA is on the right track"
Gotta be a pro-Pratt ad.
So- people are talking about Pratt and not the Demtards who are also running, then?

Everyone intelligent should have disrespect for Democracy. It is a stupid form of government.
Most people are stupid and should not be allowed to vote.
That is why we were founded as a Republic. Democracy is only used to push for an end to the United States as a country.
This reply to that X post seems plausible:
"Labor is behind Bass. They are aiming for a Bass vs Pratt runoff they can make a partisan race rather than gamble on fighting a DSA insurgent in a left vs left contest."
The unknowledge guild is all for commandante bass
"Our unhoused neighbors" kind of makes sense if you live in a relatively stable homeless encampment or something along those lines.
How much have they spent supposedly on homeless in la (i say supposedly) because the problem is worse than ever
That does seem like a pro-Pratt ad. In a way it's too dishonest: Pratt does want to allow those displaced by the fires to rebuild. Bass hasn't been letting them rebuild. City plans to house the hardcore homeless aren't actually designed to build homes or house anyone. The homeless-industrial complex doesn't want to solve the problem (if the problem even is solvable). In a way it's too honest: who doesn't think public employee unions have too much power? That's not going to convince anyone to vote against Pratt. Say he wants to crush unions and you'll get more of a response. Hyperbole wins.
Pratt is obviously the best candidate, but there's reason for skepticism. An actor who was also a union leader (Reagan) or a reality star who was actually a major real estate developer and hotelier (Trump) can do well in government. A reality star who is also a reality star is a much iffier bet.
The cost of living in LA is very high, and taxes are a big component in that. There are a lot of people who likely will never be able to afford one of those million dollar plus homes shown in the ad for “unhoused” people. The unions and the leftist politicians couldn’t care less about ordinary people. They see them as rubes to be fleeced to support ever larger government and graft. I may be wrong, but I think a lot of ordinary people are going to see that ad and start thinking that Pratt is onto something.
Now do Chicago
"My name is Inigo Montoya, and I approve of this message, which does not mean what you think it means".
criminals like other criminals and crime in general (D)
Professional courtesy
Imagine having the money to rebuild after your house burned down over a year ago, not being able to get permits to rebuild, and then hearing how your tax dollars should go to build housing for others as a priority.
