I agree with you, and so does Trump. His grand strategy includes pumping our own oil and abolishing the green new deal so that we don’t need imported energy.

Unfortunately the rest of the world doesn’t just immediately go to peace mode just because we’re not exploiting their resources. Trump is trying to bring the Gulf to a relatively soft landing by making Persia a non threat. While also defeating Chinese attempts at sea lane control.
