It’s easy to criticize but with each new administration the number of assignments is measured in thousands with the higher level jobs subject to extreme political scrutiny, each candidate subject to rejection by a countless number of politicos, attorneys, pr people. This is utterly delusional. The "DC thing" is resistance to Trump, typically under the false flag of "conservatism." Kent is doing the DC thing in spades. And it's a 90% certainty Trump is right and Kent -- a total nobody before this -- will be given a lucrative reward for his "patriotism" in the form of a gig with CNN or another anti-Trump cesspit.
If true, which I doubt, then why is Trump giving top level security positions to losers that he feels sorry? That in itself should be a scandal.

In a war you give your advice, when a decision goes against you you shut the fuck up and you help your buddies win.

Regardless of whether Trump was foolish to hire Kent or whether Kent should not have spoken (either to support our military or to not stab Trump in the back), has anyone considered the factual basis of Kent's statement? That Iran did not pose a threat to America? We don't have to wait for the threat to be an all-or-nothing situation, Iran's continued lower level attacks on America over the years (either in its own name or through its proxies) constitute not only an "imminent" threat, they constitute a threat that has been carried out.
I can see disagreeing that going to war now was the best course of action, but it is entirely wrong to say that Iran was not a threat.

If you don't want ground troops to be used you have to be willing to use ground troops.

He was a good friend to his friends, a good boss to young professional women in male-dominated real estate development world. His kids are functioning adults, his grandkids gracious children, lucky man.
