I wish Mrs. Guthrie all possible luck. What doesn't bode well is that it's taking them so long to resolve this. Kidnappings don't happen in this country because it's not a crime with a winning percentage. Just the fact that they got away with it for this long with such a high profile victim will put ideas in some people's heads.......I hope for the Dems that the kidnappers don't turn out to be some Tren de Agua type gang. In some Latin countries, kidnappings are very common..
Unfortunately, it is both necessary and long overdue for President Trump to exercise direct command authority over the CIA, because nothing there has fundamentally changed. Recall that back in July Director Ratcliffe issued a stunning statement acknowledging that his predecessors had perpetrated the Russiagate fraud. That was great, but it was immediately undercut by a CIA report that blamed vague “tradecraft errors” instead of admitting the outright fraud it actually was.
The fact that Ratcliffe could not overrule his own subordinates and their bogus analysis speaks volumes about how broken the CIA remains, even under the leadership of an honest and decent man. It was not until Tulsi Gabbard released the HPSCI report weeks later that the full extent of the CIA’s whitewash became clear. Given that history, one can only imagine how bad the situation is with whatever they are now trying to bury about the election.
The fact that the Congress won't pass a law that over 80% of the public support, and that the law is election integrity tells you a lot about our government.
By spending time on Jeffrey Epstein's island, Howard Lutnick interacted with an immensely rich man and his harem of young girls. This perfectly prepared him to do deals with the royals of Saudi Arabia and the UAE. A masterstroke by President Donald J. Trump!
Yes, child sex trafficking is horrific and deserves serious attention. But during her hearing, Pam Bondi pivoted to boasting about how well the Dow is performing under Trump—almost as if to deflect from the tough questions on Epstein files and justice for victims.
Only the most hardcore MAGA loyalists and paid influencers seemed to think her combative, evasive performance was acceptable. Even many Trump supporters expressed disgust at how she handled it, refusing to apologize to survivors while attacking Democrats and praising the stock market instead.
One thing that really stands out from this hearing is how completely out of her depth Bondi appears. She's an absolute lightweight—barely sentient at times.
Pam Bondi came across as either a hostage with a gun at her head or a nutcase. Her weird diversions, antagonism, and hostility made. no. sense. at. all.
Bongino rapidly left government with strange comments too.

That's great of course, but the real savings is getting the nonemployees off the payroll. The most effective thing the government could do for the next decade is fight fraud 24/7 with jail time and deportations, because they will never vote to cut spending.

Based on recent reports from a congressional hearing on February 11, 2026, Attorney General Pam Bondi was described by observers as displaying a "smirk," "eye rolls," and a generally unbothered demeanor while facing questioning. Key details regarding her appearance include: Controversial Demeanor: Observers and social media users noted her, at times, laughing, yawning, or smirking during intense exchanges, specifically when confronted about Epstein-related documents or questioned by Democratic lawmakers. Viral Moments: Clips of her performance went viral, with some describing her as acting "smug" and "untouched by truth" during the hearing. The Hearing: Bondi engaged in heated exchanges with the House Judiciary Committee,, where she defended the Trump administration and clashed with representatives, according to social media reports
Inga, come on, you are referencing as your authority a google chat bot who’s algorithm claims that “ Observers and social media users noted her, at times, laughing, yawning, or smirking during intense exchanges,”? Is that what you consider truth? Think about things yourself please.
“Today (February 11, 2026), U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi testified before the House Judiciary Committee in an oversight hearing focused heavily on the Justice Department’s handling of Jeffrey Epstein-related files—including redactions (protecting some alleged perpetrators/clients while exposing victim details), lack of prosecutions of named individuals (e.g., references to Prince Andrew or others), and any Trump administration ties or cover-up claims. Epstein survivors were present in the room, and the session (lasting ~5.5 hours) featured sharp questioning from Democrats, some Republican input (e.g., Rep. Thomas Massie), and accusations of non-responsiveness. Social media reactions on X (the primary real-time source here) are overwhelmingly critical of Bondi’s behavior and demeanor. Common themes include: • Evasive/filibustering/non-responsive: She repeatedly avoided direct answers, deflected with whataboutisms, talked over time limits, pivoted to unrelated topics (e.g., stock market gains or Democratic hypocrisy), and refused to answer numerous questions (Democrats highlighted ~15). • Combative, insulting, and unprofessional: Notable examples include calling Rep. Jamie Raskin (D-MD, former law professor) a “washed-up loser lawyer,” raising her voice, making personal attacks/digs at lawmakers, taunting, and engaging in shouting matches. Many described her as “unhinged,” “raging lunatic,” “losing control,” “yelling/ranting,” “juvenile/snide,” “buffoonish,” “easily triggered,” “overwhelmed/stressed,” or “acting like a clown” with “zero composure.” • Handling of victims: She expressed general sorrow for survivors’ abuse in her opening but reportedly refused to turn around and directly apologize for redaction issues when pressed; survivors were asked to signal (e.g., raise hands) if DOJ had failed them, with reports that all did. This drew outrage over perceived minimization or “dehumanizing” tone. • Other characterizations: Some questioned her stability (jokingly or not: “drunk?”, “unstable/inarticulate,” “pitiful,” “chaotic shit show”); a few tied it to broader distrust in DOJ handling of Epstein/powerful figures. A smaller set of posts (often from conservative or pro-administration users) defended her as standing her ground against “toxic”/partisan questioning, calling out hypocrisy, or performing a “master class” in handling a hostile environment. However, even some neutral/mixed voices called her performance “less than stellar” or weak in debate. Reactions appear polarized along partisan lines, with the sampled critical voices (many anti-Trump/Dem-aligned accounts) dominating visibility in searches. Broader media coverage echoes the “tense,” “heated,” “combative,” and “nuclear” tone, with survivors expressing anger. Clips of outbursts and exchanges are circulating widely, amplifying the “unprofessional” narrative. Overall, the predominant social media takeaway on her behavior is negative—portraying it as defensive, evasive, and unbecoming of the AG role in a serious oversight setting.”
Inag - Tell us about Jussie Smolette? You bought that one - hook line and sinker. And you still think it was real. the Russian Russia hoax? All you. You still think Charlie Kirk was murdered by a Groyoper or a Trump supporter. That is a total lie.. and on and on.... You are a fraud and an embarrassment- Inag.
While the left are still obsessing and bitching about January 6th - maybe the left could bring this level of human debasement into our nation? Chi Com organ harvesting - it's right up mob- leftist-D alley. Esp if leftists can harvest big money.
Now hear this. I just finished the internet and on the very last page it says "NYC Mayor Mamdani is son to the now most discussed name in America, the prince of darkness, Jeffrey Epstein; death not-withstanding. Under normal circumstances this would be "remarkable" news. But the word remarkable is now lost in a "residual data" drive, instead of the safe confines of the cloud, in the hands of predators.
Attempts to bloviate it back to life are doomed to fail. You see when Salomon said that there was nothing new under the sun, he was really preciously prescient. And that's not just a door ring camera on Saturn.
Remember, Kak and Inga and Ronald fully and enthusiastically support Democrats in government literally murdering US citizens with zero accountability. Anything happen to the people at Waco, or Ruby Ridge? The FBI agents who shot Levoy Finicum in the back? (He deserved it for protesting! shouts the left). the FBI Using an entire battalion to invade the home and kill a man who couldn't even walk in Craig Robertson. We don't even have the body cam videos released. Democrats gave medals to the guy who killed Ashley Babbit.
But if you "parade" through the People's House, staying inside the velvet ropes and passing through the doors the nice officers hold open for you, it's two years hard time with no trial and the only way out is by presidential pardon, because as all Democrats will tell you, protesting against them is a crime if possible.
Note that Inga, Kak, and the rest have not said a word about the Democrat candidates running right now on a platform of "Arrest Trump and have him executed! But never, ever use the death penalty for anyone other than Republicans! Especially make sure to free every illegal and make them immune from the law!"
Also: I went back and reread the comments on the Canadian school shooting today. Not a single comment from any of our leftists. Nary a call for gun control, even.
Now why is that, do you think? (hypothetical; we all know why: they either support the trans shooter or are hoping the story goes away to not force them to acknowledge the evils of leftist ideology).
Jamie - I hope your improving after the knee surgery, Shannon, Charles wife just got knee replacement two days ago... she was up same day walking around.... said she is still using a walker but is doing well.
If the Republicans lose in the midterms, it's because they haven't done a damn thing the Republican voters elected them to do.
@Jim at, eight years is a long time, and memories fade [/snsrk] but we’ve been here before. In 2018 I lived in Virginia’s 10th Congressional District, and Republican Congresscritter Barbara Comstock ran hard on a platform of repealing Obamacare. But given a chance to vote to repeal it, she voted against getting rid of it. And she lost re-election. But bring inert blobs who fail to support the policies that got them elected in 2024 won’t cost them their seats in Congress in 2026. Nope. Of course not.
As I mentioned yesterday, the news media is reaching out to law enforcement experts from various departments for their opinion. Today a new branch was heard from on Fox News - the Secret Service.
Before this morning the Secret Service was tasked with protecting politicians and tracking counterfeit bills. Who knew they were also kidnapping/ hostage experts?
The Republicans are one fair election away from destroying the Democrat Party and the Democrats are one stolen election away from destroying America. Elon Musk
"The Epstein Class" seems to be in the Party talking points this week. I don't think this catchphrase will work out the way they think it will work out. Kind of like Fake News. CC, JSM
From Townhall: “What was Jeff Bezos getting for his money? Did you know that they had 13 people on the climate change beat? They were paying over a dozen people to write about a giant hoax.” (Kurt Schlichter)
Yesterday I pondered why the Guthrie kidnapping story was compelling television. The following is also appended to yesterday’s Pima County post:
It’s like a serialized story with an unsteady drip of information daily. It would have been better for the victims to have competent LE response from the start but the way it is unfolding now is compelling TV unlike 99% of what’s offered.
SoCal is where I grew up and live police pursuits became the best thing to watch. Few things on TV could compete with the drama and surprise element of a felony car chase. Local news copters employed map software and estimated MPH to make chases easier to track. People flock to overpasses or line streets cheering them on. The unpredictable nature made them exciting.
This crime investigation is like that but in a slower bit-by-bit daily serial kind of way.
I'm wondering if George Soros (age 95) and Warren Buffett (age 95) and Joe Biden (age 83) and Michael Bloomberg (age 83) were funding and taking Epstein's Breaking Bad bathtub youth elixir?
Vance, your ceaseless demands that people denounce every flavor of the day meltdown you are having is idiotic.
Refusing to answer your ceaseless demands does not show support for them, it just shows that you have searched far and wide and failed to find anywhere on this blog where these ideas were supported.
Can anybody explain to me why we need to risk this over stuff that is happening inside a country on the other side of the world? The "protesters" were probably our own ISIS, we have been funding protests with USAID and covertly escalating the violence to achieve regime change, by some counts we have done this 100 times since the close of WWII.
Why is it worth it for the US over internal matters in a country on the other side of the world?
We have our reasons, but they have nothing to do with what they say are our reasons. They have to do with oil, and control of the Straits of Hormuz, and our efforts to create chaos around Russia, which is directly connected to Iran by the Caspian Sea, where no Western navy can operate. Nobody who is not on that sea can get to it without traveling through a canal through Russia. We can't stand that Iran controls the Straits just because it is on their territory when we have a bigger military.
From Drago's own drunken scribblings, I always assumed he’d eventually trade his liver disease for a white flag and a Viking funeral. But now I'm wondering… has the old booze-soaked warrior finally checked out, only to reinvent himself as Vance?
"we have been funding protests with USAID and covertly escalating the violence to achieve regime change, by some counts we have done this 100 times since the close of WWII."
And like the French supporting the American Revolution, revolution came home to France.
Heh, both Kak and Inga are now trying to avoid answering me by claiming I'm Drago. I've been posting here as Vance for years. Probably before Drago started posting, even.
As for "Why do you demand we leftists denounce everything!!" That Mark raises: It's how you guys on the left treat everyone else. How many times were we told that if we didn't specifically condemn, say, the Westboro Baptist people we must agree with them? If we didn't ritually denounce the Proud Boys or "Boogaloo" we must be part of it. Well, what's good for the goose is good for the gander, leftists. And I note that you leftists can manage to scream about "how dare you ask if I support this leftist violence!" but you never actually condemn the leftist action. It's just as easy to say "now that you ask, of course I disagree with leftists murdering Christians in churches!" But you never do say that, do you. It's never your first or second or tenth response. Finally, after chasing you guys down you might mutter a very quick statement about it... if you don't go radio silent.
Pointing out something horrible a leftist did gives your side a chance to prove that no, you aren't in fact insane and violent. You should be eager to show you aren't "like them." But you never, ever take that chance.
Mark employing that well known leftist tactic of "I personally did not do X" which may be true, followed by the next part "And therefore no Democrat did X" which is usually implied. Again, The left NEVER "gives the benefit of the doubt" to anyone else. All Trump voters are racist nazis, because they have to be because they voted for Trump!!!!!! We are all "deplorable" as Hillary said.
It's official leftist policy. "Because this person misused a gun, we have to seize all guns from white people! They are to blame for this one gun shooting!" All white people are racist. We have "Christian Nationalists."
Mark, Group blame is the core of leftist belief. You cannot complain if someone returns it to you. You are a leftist, therefore by your own rules you are guilty of all things that leftists do. It's the standard your side applies to everyone else, so you get to live by those rules.
Vance always reminded me of Drago, I used to ask if Vance and Drago were ever seen in the same room together. Making claims about what a commenter has said despite the commenter never having said it was a hallmark method of Drago and Vance for years. Drago’s sad story of his illness always seemed suspicious. I can only guess that he had to killl off the Drago persona for some reason. It’s uncanny that two commenters use the same exact method of commenting.
Drago/Vance comment @10:40 is an example of why I used to tease Drago about being trained in propaganda in Moscow. The more Vrago posts, the more he shows that he misses his Drago persona.
Remember when the Democrats used to be anti-war? Now Inga is baying for Rooskie blood! Remember when that large group of Democrats came out in opposition to us pushing the Ukrainians civil war into a superpower conflict, and quickly were forced back to the fold?
And the left is protecting the kidnappers. Once again....they are disgusting human beings who really DON'T care about human rights, when things like this are allowed to happen.
Rapid Response 47

"That's because of the leadership of President Trump [that] these children were located."
The most effective counter to false propaganda is to refute it with facts and logic. If you can't do that... well, it's a good thing to remember that propaganda can also consist of things that are true that you don't want your people thinking about, such as that there has been a civil war on Russia's border since 2014, and the Biden Administration demanded that Zelensky go against the promise that got him elected, to make peace with Russia, and instead escalate the war on ethnic Russians in the Donbas.
There is nothing false there, Inga just doesn't want people to think about it because she considers herself a "thought leader."
I think Inga needs medical help, since she's clearly going senile. I've been posting here for probably a decade. I think I was posting before Drago. I remember Laslo when he had the time to post here. I have embarrassed Inga lots of times with her insistence that she will never, ever condemn Democrats on anything they do. And now she's found a new tactic: "If I claim Drago and Vance are the same poster, I never, ever have to respond with anything of substance! Hooray! I get to avoid facing accountability for the evil I love and support!"
Democrats are outraged by Pam Bondi's performance as AG. Maybe they shouldn't have been so quick to reject Matt Gaetz just because he has sex with teenagers.

Nope. The total is at its lowest for 5 years -- Biden juiced the workforce but it's been at a stable flat peak for close to 20 years.

Inga, come on, you are referencing as your authority a google chat bot who’s algorithm claims that “ Observers and social media users noted her, at times, laughing, yawning, or smirking during intense exchanges,”? Is that what you consider truth? Think about things yourself please.
Bondi throws a tantrum after Rep.Joe Neguse exposes her.
Tantrum? Did you even watch the video you linked - Inag? there is no tantrum.
I"nga said...
Bondi throws a tantrum after Rep.Joe Neguse exposes her."
LOL! She destroyed him, He spent his time whining to chairman, then gave up the remainder.
Not only did I watch the video, I watched the entire hearing. Bondi’s behavior was not unlike yours here on a daily basis, embarrassing, or should be.
Igna loves hoaxes. Hence, her cherry picked polling.
The woman seems to be only barely in touch with reality.
Inag- considering every lie you have pushed through the years - you should be embarrassed to show your face here.
Common themes include:
• Evasive/filibustering/non-responsive: She repeatedly avoided direct answers, deflected with whataboutisms, talked over time limits, pivoted to unrelated topics (e.g., stock market gains or Democratic hypocrisy), and refused to answer numerous questions (Democrats highlighted ~15).
• Combative, insulting, and unprofessional: Notable examples include calling Rep. Jamie Raskin (D-MD, former law professor) a “washed-up loser lawyer,” raising her voice, making personal attacks/digs at lawmakers, taunting, and engaging in shouting matches. Many described her as “unhinged,” “raging lunatic,” “losing control,” “yelling/ranting,” “juvenile/snide,” “buffoonish,” “easily triggered,” “overwhelmed/stressed,” or “acting like a clown” with “zero composure.”
• Handling of victims: She expressed general sorrow for survivors’ abuse in her opening but reportedly refused to turn around and directly apologize for redaction issues when pressed; survivors were asked to signal (e.g., raise hands) if DOJ had failed them, with reports that all did.

Inag -
Tell us about Jussie Smolette? You bought that one - hook line and sinker. And you still think it was real.
the Russian Russia hoax? All you.
You still think Charlie Kirk was murdered by a Groyoper or a Trump supporter. That is a total lie..
and on and on....
You are a fraud and an embarrassment- Inag.
It would be amazing if Ann could delete you, Inag.
Simply amazing. She won't - but most of us here would love it - if you would fuck off.
Inag - Bondi was repeatedly interrupted when she began to answer questions.
So again- you feed your flip phone/ Free AI BS- and you get BS.
Looks good for Democrat majority in House and even Senate in the midterms.
Trump's not on the ballot. And there's only so much TrumpHate to drive certain people to the polls.
If the Republicans lose in the midterms, it's because they haven't done a damn thing the Republican voters elected them to do.
They're as worthless as tits on a boar and deserve to lose.
Trump's agenda will continue no matter who wins the mid-terms ... even in the face of worthless impeachment bullshit.
Deal with it.
What Bagoh mentioned above is important.
Government jobs are often tax payer joke-jobs for grifters.
Now - under President Trump, we have expanding private sector job growth. It is a reality. It is happening.
Leftists HATE the private sector . Because they are communists.
As bad as the GOP is - the democrats are lying cheating mobster-commies.
Troll Inag - spamming.
Let us not forget Nurse ratchet's Covid diktats. obey.
Big Pharma covid Jabs. they harm people.
Remarkable? No such thing.
Don't forget Iowa on the Inga hit parade.
I doubt very much that Mamdani is Epsteins spawn; his mom wasnt his type at all.
https://share.google/chjFQdnba1T3Srydd
Mira Nair was quite good looking in her youth, but my point stands re Epstein.
Out in the West Texas Town of El Paso
Trumps' deadly desperado drones turned out to be quinciñera party balloons. How long til the men in white sports coats come to take him away?
Looks like it was the Inag/ peachy show last night and I missed it live.

True
"The Epstein Class" seems to be in the Party talking points this week. I don't think this catchphrase will work out the way they think it will work out. Kind of like Fake News. CC, JSM
From Townhall: “What was Jeff Bezos getting for his money? Did you know that they had 13 people on the climate change beat? They were paying over a dozen people to write about a giant hoax.” (Kurt Schlichter)
Cracks me up.

You're a joke, Drago.
"Vance, your ceaseless demands that people denounce every flavor of the day meltdown you are having is idiotic."
Touched a nerve, I see.
Also he should buy a mirror.

WW3 is afoot.
US doctrine, BTW, is that if you sink an aircraft carrier, you get a free nuke, delivery guaranteed or your next one is free!
The second sunrise photo— love how the bare branches seem to be gesturing to the sun.
Kak....you prove everyday how disgusting you really are.
I saw some of Bondi's performance, and she acted about like I expect an incompetent power-mad lawyerbitch to act.
Not that the opposition are any better, of course.
I asked people to denounce Westboro Church here?
I will take 'things I never said' for $1000.
You invent things that never happened then claim you are just trying to make things even. Gimme a break

“I have embarrassed Inga lots of times…”
You’ve embarrassed only yourself with your accusations and rantings.
Between the two of us, Althouse has only banned one of the two of us. Repeatedly. And that person was not me. Nor did I believe Jessie Smollett.
Democrats are outraged by Pam Bondi's performance as AG. Maybe they shouldn't have been so quick to reject Matt Gaetz just because he has sex with teenagers.
