The Constitution allows one representative for at least 30,000 constituents, so we could have about 11,000. So why not expand from 438 to 1,000 or so (not married to any particular number)? For those who think the Senate has to many votes in the Electoral College, this would dilute that. All 1,000 districts would be newly drawn, & there would be no true incumbents & at least 562 new faces.

It’s a great idea but I don’t know how it would be implemented. Congress won’t dilute their own power and I’m doubtful that we’ll ever see another amendment survive the proscribed constitutional ratification.

Beasts: the existing Congresscritters would resent being diluted, but the parties as a whole might rejoice at the chance to have even more seats, with the accompanying budgets, etc.
It would make lobbying more difficult, but that could backfire and just give more advantage to huge interest groups that can afford even more man-hours, dinners, etc.
On the other hand, with a better rep-to-repped ratio, ordinary people will have a better chance to get their Congresscritter's ear. Could be more like British MPs' 'surgery,' where they sit and take complaints from all comers.

Starting to see why the left is so obsessed with Epstein. They are convinced that they are just one revelation away from destroying Trump (or apparently Musk). They aren’t. And the more that is exposed, the more the left is hurt. The left is hurt, because that is the crowd that Epstein ran in - super elite NYC Dems. Very often, Jewish, at least ethnically, like Epstein.
Epstein had almost nothing that Trump was interested in, except a private jet. And sometimes it was just easier for Trump to catch a ride between NYC and Miami, with Epstein, where both had houses, than use his own jet. Trump had no interest in Epstein’s women. What I think happened is that the two would somewhat frequently meet and rub elbows at parties in NYC and Miami. Then Epstein crossed the line with a woman or two, at MAL. Trump banned him there, and never trusted him after that. Sure, superficially, they appeared to still be buddies. But that is just how Trump is - he can be best friends with Putin and Xi, and the next one appear to be their mortal enemy. And Epstein continued to try to take advantage of that, trying to sell some insights into Trump, from their time in proximity to each other. But he never really had any dirt on Trump. Just the potential that he might, kept the money flowing in. Esp with the fervid TDS in the crowds that Epstein ran in.

Halftime at the Super Bowl used to be a big thing. You might not be interested in the game itself, but you, and millions of others, would tune in for the halftime show. Now, many of those watching it, just mute their TVs through the halftime show, and do something else. And those of us who didn’t watch it, don't bother at all. Used to be a great day to go skiing (like New Year’s Day). Not so much any more.
Long run, it was idiotic, on the part of the NFL. IN recent years, the audiences that are attracted to NFL football, are repelled by the halftime shows, and visa versa. Who else is left, of the swing states the Dems stole in 2020? PA? Massive Dem election fraud in AZ and GA have already been exposed. Last week, the FBI raided the election facilities for Fulton County, GA, scooping up the ballots, their provenance, tally tapes, etc. so far, we know that over a third of a million ballots there were illegally included in the state counts, which is 30x Biden’s winning margin in that state. And the tally tapes weren’t signed, as they legally should have been, because the Fulton County election officials are the ones who locked Republicans election judges out of the room where the counting was going on, after it was discovered that the Biden count was too “light”.
We talked recently, in a recent thread, about the Trump Administration having too much muzzle velocity. Several of us pointed out that what they were really talking about is rate of fire. In modern infantry tactics, you use machine guns, with high rates of fire, to keep your enemy’s heads down, while the rest of your unit maneuvers around them, to take them from the side. And, I think that these attacks on Dem election fraud are a result of this. The Dems are all so focused on their attacks on ICE, whether we are going to bomb Iran, whether the Worker’s Paradise of Cuba is finally going to implode, etc, that they have missed the center thrust at one of their key weapons - election fraud. And maybe too, thrusts against their money supply, in the form of graft and fraud on government programs - such as the Somalis in MN.

Of course, it was planned that way. The arsonists and those wrecking violence, hide in the crowds of nonviolent protesters. And the nonviolent protesters are there for just that reason - to hide those committing the violence. That’s how they operated in the summer of 2020 in Portland, and it’s silly to think that they wouldn’t be doing the same today. And the mayor’s response is exactly why the continue rioting this way.
