At his current and desired future levels, the Boss Principle makes dyslexia irrelevant. The boss always gets his/her information, in the time/place/manner he/she wants it. If you have trouble reading, you make all your immediate subordinates give you everything verbally. If you can't pay attention to some twit rambling on in governmentese, you make your people give you everything in writing, maybe with a couple levels of executive summary on top. I think some commenter here linked to Winston's one-pager on one-pagers a few days ago.

If you want to convince people you aren't a slick establishment politician, you should probably start by not having photos in an ego piece that make you look like a slick establishment politician. Not that it matters. The media will create a description of him and that will be accepted as fact regardless of how far it is from the truth.
It should be hard to convince people you are not what you are, but there is definitely a segment of voters who would prefer to believe what you tell them than believe their own eyes.

Battlespace preparation
While I was initially a reluctant Supporter of DJT, after observing his accomplishments through the first year of his second term, I now consider him the best president of my lifetime, which is extensive.
However he must now consider the question of the limits to the process of deporting illegal immigrants. My thoughts on the appropriate approach:
All illegals who have been in the country for at least six consecutive years, have committed no crimes, have not been on welfare, have been employed and paying taxes may APPLY for legal status. That status would not include welfare benefits or the right to vote.
This approach would exclude all of Biden’s invitees and failure to apply would leave an illegal subject to immediate deportation. The question of an eventual pathway to citizenship would have to be addressed.

I don’t mind that as an argumentative point of departure, but I’d guess the number of illegals who meet all of those criteria is so small as to be meaningless.
I didn't learn how to read until the 3rd grade either. When I did it came as a surprise to my teachers who thought I was "retarded." Luckily, I was a very good looking child and some of the teachers took an unhealthy interest in me. After a few tests, they decided I was a genius and bumped me up to the 6th grade. It was some sort of odd experiment. Anyways, super traumatic. The physical difference between 6th grade children and 3rd graders is pretty serious and the experiment was abandoned.
Newsom might well be dyslexic but the fact is that he is also stupid.

Your proposal is fair but the Venn diagram you outline would contain very few people eligible for legal status which leaves most illegals as illegal and in need of removal. Politically, however, it would disarm a lot of the criticisms but, of course, you will have the RJWs of the world trying to redefine the words "crime" and "welfare".

I'll guess that underlining as you read keeps the words and sentences in order. My understanding is that dyslexics often see letters, words and sentences jumping around the page.

Judge, my primary concern is the "legal" status without right to benefits or vote. I understand it and appreciate it, but it still seems a 2nd class citizenship. What I've seen is why progressives act like they have empathy for illegals, H1B visas, and other forms of 2nd class citizenship; they often abuse such people at every opportunity. Legal needs to be full citizenship.
However, I like where you are going with your criteria for a pathway to amnesty. I have a lot of agreement with the only crime allowed is unauthorized entry into the US. The trick would be the timeline. I know a lot of good, decent illegals that meet all your other criteria and have lived in the US for over a decade. However, they cross the border routinely. So, the definition of when they entered and established would be tricky.
As for other "crimes", I would accept several types of misdemeanors, such as traffic violations, but here again, I've seen progressives abuse this by lowering dangerous felonies to misdemeanors.
Absolutely, must be established taxpayers and not on benefits. Don't know about "never on" benefits. Again, I like the sentiment, but progressives will have spoiled it for many with freebies that any rational person would have taken advantage. However, I think a period of time is necessary.
All of it would need to be a one-time offer for a small set of people that have been compliant. Agree, the offer period needs to be short (ending by Dec 31, 2027, so as not to get extended to the next President to change the rules). If you fail to apply, you lose out. If you apply and fail to meet criteria, you can receive deportation orders.
One additional criteria; you cannot have claimed asylum status after 2008. Those that have claimed asylum status after 2008 will follow the asylum process they have begun, and if they receive deportation orders, they must deport to a country of their choice before the time stated in their orders or face deportation at the choice of the US government.

My wife applied for a visa and for green card status.
She lived here for over a decade before getting naturalized. She learned English and she worked through the LEGAL system.

Have no affinity to Newsom, but reading impairments are a thing. Teach reading as Ed tech support to teachers within special ed. Many are smart, but can't focus, ( ADHD) many are hard workers/ students but have dyslexia or vision impairment, ( for instance the word in the middle of the sentence, they get muddled and guess instead of sounding it out) others have regulation issues and cannot focus. It is an impairment.
