The world is full of atrocities against women. In some countries there are unconscionable restrictions against late term abortions and in other countries there are stories such as this. Here the feminists have their eyes on the prize. Restrictions on late term abortions are where the feminists have chosen to muster their forces and fight the patriarchy........All this flack about women in Afghanistan not being allowed to go to school or, for that matter, not being allowed to leave their homes is just static meant to disguise the real enemy. I suppose if you press them, they'll agree that it was a bit much for Red China to force women to have abortions during the One Child policy, but it was done in a good cause and ultimately worked to undermine the patriarchy. No child, no patriarchy as Stalin was rumored to say.......Seriously, is there any third world abuse of women that muster the same amount of indignation as late term abortion restrictions inspire among feminists here.

While it is a movie about Turks after the 1980 coup, I recommend the movie YOL for a fine depiction of family honor killings in the Muslim world. The family details of the plot line in the movie differ no doubt from the story above, but the idea of honor killings was a revelation to me when I first saw the film. The concept of killing a family member to avoid public shame to the entire family was foreign to me as a younger person. Having your cousin arrested for violent child abuse apparently is strongly shaming enough in Iranian society that killing him is better than calling the cops. Now we know.

The problem you have is you misunderstand feminism.

Look at the types of men who feminists idolize and support. Ann voted for Bill Clinton knowing exactly what he was because he promised to let the women he abused have abortions.

Biologically speaking women are driven to get pregnant. Nothing else.

All of the other garbage they spew is meant to make sure men they perceive as weak and low status are driven away. They shit on men in general so that any man who actually cares what they think is repulsed by them. Thus they sort for sociopaths like Clinton.

They view rapists like Bill Clinton as superior genetic material compared to the nice guys they lie about wanting.

Thus they create a world where they can have Bill’s babies raised by some simple they can abuse and talk down to.

"18 for murdering their husbands, including two child brides, according to Iran Human Rights."

Leaving aside the two child brides, that's sixteen killings committed by one lawfully responsible adult against another. It seems Iran Human Rights wants us to be outraged against Iran, not for warmongering against Israel, Lebanon, Iraq, and Syria, not for proliferating weapons of mass destruction, but for punishing women for murder. Iran Human Rights provides no context for those killings. Were they clear cases of self-defense against imminent deadly threats, or after-the-fact acts of personal vengeance? Common law sees a clear distinction between the two, one is natural right, regrettably exercised. The other is a capital crime.

Wives should not be abused by their husbands. This is a Western value, generally ignored by most cultures across the globe, but especially by the followers of Mohammad, which ought to make Westerners wary of Islam, yet The Guardian is one of the most prominent voices denouncing such perfectly reasonable suspicion and wariness as "Islamophobia". They square that circle by generally ignoring such crimes when they occur in Europe, and in the same instant point an accusing finger at Iran as if Islam has nothing to do with those killing and executions.

Given the dearth of context regarding these executions we should be circumspect about the particular cases, and defensive of our threated Western Tradition which condemns both spousal abuse and murder with equal conviction.

If Western women think it 'can't happen here' history will prove them very sorely mistaken.

It would certainly be ironic if the writer John Norman turned out to be the great prophet of the 21st Century in the way that Karl Marx was a great prophet of the 20th, because if women’s freedom requires the death of their culture, then the culture that provided it is absolutely going to be eliminated, and it will be eliminated by whatever culture those women replaced theirs with.

There are no medals for 2nd place in cultural warfare. You either defend your values or your values will be replaced. Your daughters will not be permitted the luxury of remembering their mother's lives were different. I've spent a lot of time in the sand lands. They view Western women as affluenza-infected whores rightly deserving classification as war booty. They hate feminism and everything about 'modern' women generally (excepting the vast amounts of porn they consume) and they've no compunction about using whatever method their culture has provided them to ensure your daughters will wear the hijab and tolerate co-wives. If they're lucky, dissention will result in a warning first.

It can happen here. 250 years of law and cultural expectation means nothing without the will to enforce and expect it, most especially if new enforcers have their own ideas about "the law".

Men and women are different. The problems start when you pretend they are the same.

Feminists deny biological reality. Men do this too. It just manifests differently.

The overwhelming majority of women will be happier marrying a man and raising several children. The overwhelming majority of men will be happier marrying a woman and providing for her and several children.

When men take on the female role and play video games all day refusing to accept responsibility for a family they are not fulfilled.

When women act like men and go girl boss they grow up alone and the one or two kids they have grow up in day care hating the world.

You can yell at the clouds all you want. But industrializing our female population has led to generations of children being small in numbers and raised by other people who don’t care about them.

Modern women don’t seem to understand it isn’t all about you. Choosing short term happiness sacrifices long term fulfillment.

So the fact that men are lonely and unmarried has nothing to do with feminism or women. Most probably it has to do with the availability of birth control. Men have the choice to become fathers or not and most are choosing not to.

Men can go get married, have kids with a woman, and take a 30-50% chance at having her leave him, take the house and half his money til those kids are 18, and probably pay for another man to live in the house he bought and fuck the mother of his children because she wasn't "happy."

It is shocking men are opting out of that.

That doesn't even get to the issues of how expensive houses are and how expensive families are. I am top quintile income and if it was just my income it would be a stretch. An economy based on both parents working is not going to function. The economy needs to be reset to a norm where women stay home and raise kids.

Its a market to a large degree. If an American man cannot find a satisfactory wife locally, perhaps the competition for them is too intense or they are too "expensive" in terms of the demands they are making, there are millions of women in other lands that would be glad to hear his proposals because their local men are offering them less, and cannot compete with the American. Thats like going abroad to find a lower cost supplier of widgets.

American women cant do the same, because of course men and women want different things.

A US man is not looking for a wealthy wife or one that can bring him into a first world society. He already has these things, he is (relatively) a wealthy man with a US passport.
He is fine with a relatively good looking poòr girl with a pleasant personality. Most men arent asking for much btw.

A foreign man in a foreign land cannot offer an American woman wealth, he is most likely a poor man with third world attitudes. An American woman would find him, in most cases, unappealing vis a vis her American options.

The point of this article is that the consent of women is not mandatory. It is only required if the men in society say it is required.

The United States is run by men who decided for the first time in history that it was required. Women have never been given this much freedom or wealth. Ever.

And there is no other country in history with women who treat men as badly as they are treated by women here in this country.

Of course not. That’s my point. Achilles lays the declining birthrate at the feet of feminism and women. I think birth control (and I’m not arguing against birth control) has had a huge impact on society - it’s even impacted the porn explosion - which has further impacted relationships between men and women. As far as feminism as a movement - it has been captured by the Democrat Party - which is unfortunate. And there’s no question that it’s used to further Democrat Party power (Kavanaugh hearings).

Feminism voiced the demands, but the pill made them actionable, affecting both men and women in unintended ways. Without it, societal norms around relationships would have changed more slowly - and maybe would not have changed at all.
We’ve treated the iPhone, personal computers, AI with 100 times more societal caution and thought than we ever gave to the technology that decoupled sex from reproduction for the first time in human history and rewrote mating preferences.
I think the reason for that was because we thought those instincts fir reproduction were so hard wired, nothing could change them. Turns out (in my opinion) we were wrong.

Feminists have made it dangerous to men if they choose to be around women. If men choose to get married they risk losing half their stuff. If they choose to have kids they risk losing half their paycheck til the kids turn 18.

If men make any kind of comment to a woman at work they risk getting fired. Men and women at work all say they don't want to work for a female manager. But they only say it when HR isn't listening.

And the HR departments that have created these gestapo regimes in workplaces are filled with Karens.

Male professors are petrified of their female students.

And then we get to how boys are treated by their female teachers in public schools.

Feminism has trained men from a very young age to be afraid and walk on eggshells around women.

It has very little to do with the pill.

I only checked one of your assertions. Perplexity, checked by Grok:
“By 2017, preferences shifted to 55% with no gender preference, 23% male, and 21% female—marking the first time no majority favored males. Women under 50 began preferring female bosses slightly, while overall male preference dropped further in later polls. Men consistently report higher neutrality rates (68% in 2017).[news.gallup +1]
Key Takeaways
These polls reflect gradual progress since 1953, when 66% preferred males, influenced by current experiences and demographics like age or politics. No universal rejection of female bosses exists; most now see gender as irrelevant.[news.gallup +1]”

No agenda there; nope not at all.

LOL the cope is real.

Both of the above comments make zero sense.

Not that it needed pointing out, but I couldn’t resist.

Don't make me say it. You are usually smarter than this.

You don't see an agenda in this?

"These polls reflect gradual progress since 1953..."

It seems pretty clear that [news.gallup +1]'s comment is based on the idea that more people thinking favorably of female bosses is better than fewer. Does [news.gallup +1] explain why that might be, or is it just assumed to be so because...?

Eva Marie ने कहा…

Gallup is reporting on their polling. The numbers are
1953 66% male boss preference
2917 23% male boss preference, 55% no preference
What do these polls reflect? They reflect progress (progression) to no gender preference.
What is so difficult to understand?

Eva Marie ने कहा…

BTW that’s Perplexity commenting on what the polls reflect. Is Perplexity wrong?

Eva Marie ने कहा…

2017 instead of 2917

Kirk Parker ने कहा…

Not all change is progress, you silly person.

Eva Marie ने कहा…

Ok here’s a recap:
Original statement was: Men and women at work all say they don't want to work for a female manager.
According to Gallup polling (checked by Perplexity and affirmed by Grok): 1953 - 66% male boss preference 2017 - 55% no preference. Whether you think that is or is not progress the original statement is false. Now you don’t refute that but instead call me silly. That’s an ad hominem attack and it makes zero sense.

One deplorable effect of feminism is the termination of mating in the workplace. Of all places where men and women meet each other it is by far the most natural and valid, as far as getting a true evaluation of worth and compatibility. I met, and pursued, my wife at work. This has been very strongly discouraged over the last 30 years, which is a disastrous social loss.

“Oh, lets. Muhammed was pedophile and started a shit religion. Followed by a bunch of simple mined barbarians.
Middle eastern county's have lower IQs because of all the inbreeding.”

An alternative hypothesis is that Islam selects away from intelligence through its fatalism. Ultimately, their If Allah is Willing attitude runs counter to innovation, and rewards the unimaginative.

"Persian culture is much longer civilized than the primitive Northern Viking and Barbarian tribes that run much of the world, including the US, today."

“Mostly Greek and Roman culture, but I'll let you have it. Yeah. Persia rocked it until that pedophile Muhammed showed up. They haven't done shit since 700AD.”

You want to insult an Iranian/Persian? Call him a “camel jockey” or “sand ni**er”. Almost nothing worse than being mistaken for a filthy Arab. They still have camel races, and were happily driving their camels around the Arabian peninsula into the 20th Century. While the Persians have been living in cities for nigh on 4,000 years now. They hate that their religion is based in Saudi Arabia, and is dependent upon the Arab language. And this is part, maybe even a big part, of the schism between Sunni and Shi’a Islam.

Part of the disagreement between Achilles and Eva Marie revolves around mate selection. Feminism has essentially resulted from women having voted themselves free of then patriarchy, replacing it, financially, with state support, either in the form of welfare, or the unequal financial costs of divorce.

In a closed society, males and females of equal status tend to mate. They tend to pair up fairly quickly in studies. But in a feminist society, the women tend to overrate themselves. Instead of 10s mating with 10s, and 5s with 5s, you have 7 and 8 women insisting on 10 men, 5 women insisting on 7 and 8 men, etc. For the most part finding themselves significantly outnumbering the males that they are willing to mate with. Which results in the higher status males being able to have sex with a lot more women (and Trump’s “Grab their pussy” joke), without the necessity of marriage. Making this worse is the feminization of college, and the reality that, despite that, college educated women prefer college aged mates. The result is that high status males get plenty of mating opportunities, and little pressure to find a wife, while lower status males can't find dating, and thus, marriage opportunities.

Thats with a closed mating pool. But, for American men (but not women) it isn’t a closed mating pool any more. They can find very acceptable mates around the world, as some here have done. American women, for the most part, can’t, because of their drive to only marry similar or higher status males, and by wealth, most non-American males have significantly lower status than American women.

Achilles says men are lonely because American women and feminism ruined everything.
At the same time he says men have the option to find more attractive, willing women available abroad.
Those two positions can’t both be true at the same time.
If men have a giant global pool of better options (as he says, as Bruce Hayden says, and as other men have said in these comments) then American feminism isn’t stopping any male from finding a partner.
If men - with all these available options - are still lonely then it is for reasons that have nothing to do with feminism.

As a side note:
I’m watching a lot of movies from the 40s and 50s (Youtube and Tubi)
One that I saw recently: This young couple is standing above a lush valley of trees and streams and birds and wildlife. They say to each other (I’m paraphrasing) “There’s so much room here for us. We can have children, our children can have children here and soon we can populate this whole valley.”
That mindset is gone. It doesn’t exist. Is it because of horrid, awful, spit on it feminism? Or is there something else going on?

Also with bullshit HR, DEI, Government Bureaucracy and education teacher/administrator jobs.

Obama referenced the "shovel ready" jobs fiasco when women bitched that all of the jobs required actual work building things and they didn't want to do that.
