I have read those e-mails ten times each- I don't get what the scandal for Trump is supposed to be here? In one of the e-mails, Epstein is demonstrably lying about having been a member at Mar-a-lago- there is literal documentation that proves this was a lie, though, at the date of the e-mail, 2019, might not have yet been made public, so Epstein felt that there was no reason to not lie about it.
Also, in context, "VICTIM" was Giuffre who literally, under oath, denied any impropriety on the part of Donald Trump. So, on balance, one must conclude that any implied impropriety by Epstein in that e-mail is also either a mistake or a lie. What was fascinating about the e-mails is that Wolff was very clearly coaching Epstein on how he might gain leverage over Trump by shaping public responses to the CNN interview, depending on how Trump answered the questions- in short, it looks very probable that Wolff and Epstein were planning on additional lies.
Since the House committee has all the documents except for the child porn videos and the grand jury testimony, then this is apparently all the House Democrats have that "damage" Trump- no wonder Merrick Garland didn't release any of it- it literally answers the question of why Biden didn't use it- he didn't use it because it was really a big fat nothing and almost certainly would have backfired in an active campaign against Trump.
To date, none of the women involved in this story have implicated Trump in any wrong-doing at all. None have gone public either with contrary stories, even those who testified to the grand jury through either verbal testimony or deposed testimony. We can reasonably be sure the grand jury testimony is also a big zero since it isn't controlled by Trump friendly judges- if there was anything in them that damaged Trump, the judges would have found a way to release it when appealed to earlier this Summer.

Even if the emails are authentic, they don’t seem particularly damning. First, while I’m not a lawyer, aren’t they textbook examples of hearsay? The fact that Epstein wrote something in an email doesn’t make it true. Second, even if true (impossible to know) what did he write? “He knows about the girls.” Knows what about which girls? “He spent hours at my house with [victim].” In the same room? Did he know she was a “victim”? Was this at a party with 100 people? These would get laughed out of court, though granted here we’re dealing only with the court of public opinion, so anything goes.
Ok, I made an error in the timing- Wolff and Epstein were writing in 2015, not 2019. Somone on another site had first linked me to the story with a description e-mails from 2011 and 2019 and I didn't even look at the dates, just the sender's names. So Wolff was trying to get Epstein to contradict Trump during the primary run prior to the 2016 election.

It was always unlikely, though not impossible, that actual compromising material would be collected on a mark.
