Said Kyrsten Sinema, quoted in "Kyrsten Sinema Is Ready for Her MAHA Turn/In a new interview, the one-time Democrat says the movement for psychedelic medicine should capitalize on the Trump administration" (Politico).
There's also this about her "ibogaine treatment" to deal with her mental distress over her grandmother’s dementia: "It’s not a fun medicine. My experience was 15 hours long. That’s a long time. There was a noise in my head for the entire 15 hours that sounded like a little machine clunking around. Clunk clunk clunk clunk clunk. Some people say they hear a buzzing noise, I didn’t have that. It felt like there was a machine working inside my head for 15 hours...."
How does she feel now: "Crystal-clear. Sharp, sharp is the word. My brain feels snappy."

Oh, sure, next thing you know, people think they can fly off of tall buildings.
Was in all the news back in the day.
Tests of 30 veterans
"Now, Stanford Medicine researchers have discovered that the plant-based psychoactive drug ibogaine, when combined with magnesium to protect the heart, safely and effectively reduces PTSD, anxiety and depression and improves functioning in veterans with TBI.

Ibogaine doesn't sound fun. Neither does DMT. LSD is okay, but a little too mechanical, IMO. Magic mushrooms are just right. I've done a light dose of peyote that was processed to remove the emetic substance was quite pleasant. I found none of it habit forming.
I've noticed that a lot of the women of the left are on psychiatric medications like Sinema.
The CIA gave Charlie Manson so much LSD that he didn't suffer a moment of either pre-traumatic stress or post-traumatic stress.

Hope it works. Hair loss is traumatic, especially for women.
I've tried many psychedelic drugs and enjoyed them at times. But there is only one that I would be willing to do again, and I would do it without any hesitation. Bufo toad venom is like nothing else I have ever encountered. It's overwhelmingly powerful, totally enjoyable, and it's over in 15 minutes. You feel refreshed and happy afterward, but have no inclination to do more. I used to have friends who would wrangle toads every spring down by Lake Pleasant. It's not worth the effort for me to do that, so no Bufo for me.
It takes a few years but you can build up an immunity to ibogaine powder.
Computers talking you into jumping off thats something else
Our entire medical health research system needs an overhaul.
We have learned so much about how things work over the last 5 years.
I am curious how many people here are going to make fun of people trying experimental drugs like this who are themselves taking Statins.
Cocaine has more therapeutic value than Statins do.
Thats what sherlock said
@achilles re: statins
I had "high cholesterol" for one of my annual check ups. My doc prescribed statins but his office never actually called to tell me so I never took them. A years laters at my next check up my cholesterol was back to safe levels. Point is: everything got better on its own but iif I would have taken the statins it would have appeared like they were "working" and I would be on them for the rest of my life. Talk about dodging a bullet.
I know enough people with the nastiest side effects..
Mr. Toad’s Wild Ride?
Psychitropic shock therapy.
"Statins for the rest of my life" And, people who take Vitamin C everyday for the rest of their life. And, people who drink coffee everyday for the rest of their life. Addiction is everywhere.
@ DD Driver:
Does that ever cause you to question other things the government has been telling us about our health?
Oh, please.
