We've had a doe and her two fawns in our yard this summer. We're on very good terms.

The fawns have recently lost their spots.

Just got back to north Florida from a sojourn to the Shenandoah Valley. The Jefferson Pools were worth another great soak. Thank you President Jefferson for building those octogonal buildings that have lasted all these centuries. The leaves were just starting to turn and we had blankets on the beds.

ZACH BRYAN (WHO) outlaw cowboy like they like t project, causing MAGAS, TO LOSE THEIR s*&$ writes a tune about whats really going on in the old RED WHITE AND BLUE. We listen to 1% maybe of country music so we have no clue who this fella is or his historic fame(like BAD BUNNY) global star. MEDIA will take it to the limits ,one more time. I don't think the guy can sing but they Im not one on the zillions buying his stuff , sounds typical whiny I am an outlaw ,kid rock KIND OF STUFF, BUT $$$$ TALKS Maybe they can get him in on Charlie Kirks superbowl HALF TIME SHOW ?

I’m not in any way an eco-freak but, Gawd, I love a giant tree. Truly historical monuments.

Well, other people’s giant trees. Ones that don’t drop leaves and other seasonal discharges onto my roof and lawn. As noted in an earlier thread, all the giant trees that were on my property were felled into the ravine behind my house.

The maple in our front yard is dying. It had the black spot disease a couple of years ago and never recovered. It was never a specimen, but if provided much needed shade on the western facing side of the house. I'll remove it this spring.
