Among the conservative commentary at the link there is this 2024 tweet from Charlie Kirk himself:
Hate speech does not exist legally in America. There's ugly speech. There's gross speech. There's evil speech.
And ALL of it is protected by the First Amendment.
Keep America free.

Hate crime laws supercharged the trans movement and enabled minor-interested trans activists to invade schools and libraries under the guise of "opposing hate." They used the grossly disparate application of these laws to claim statistical victimhood exceeding that of real women and every other "identity group." These laws inspired the ideology that Kirk's killer put into action. It is a perversion for us to celebrate them now: we need to be morally consistent and oppose using them. Equal justice for all killers, regardless of their target.
Pam Bondi, withom I have dealt with, is not a rocket scientist. Believe it or not, Nancy Grace was. She is volatile but was a whip-smart prosecutor. Bondi is not holding up.

I’m proud of the uniform pushback Bondi got from our side yesterday, immediately and loudly standing up for Free Speech. Wouldn’t it be awesome if we had two political parties that believe in the First Amendment?
There is no such thing as hate speech. I agree! And how nice that so many on the left agree as well. I wonder if that agreement will hold when it's speech they dislike.
