Fascist Regime Outlines Plans to Dismantle Opposition
ISIS was not a group, other than its state/military structure in Syria. Elsewhere in the world it was a matter of local "entrepreneurs" sharing an ideological and propaganda bubble.
But it was still a terrorist group, no matter that it had no "center".
Apologies to Eddie Rabbitt - but you can roll up the organization Step by Step, now that Trump has actual control of the DOJ and FBI, as well as cooperation from the tech companies.
1. Identify the front-line troops. Start with the ones actually arrested. Crowdsource identification of the others, and use government photo comparison (which has improved a lot since 2020). Remind the tech companies that they need to cooperate with this effort at least as much as they cooperated with the effort to identify the J6ers.
2. Lean on identified front-line troops.
3. Really lean on the volunteer 'legal observers' that accompany Antifa. Threaten their bar cards. Tell them every federal case they try to work will turn into the US Attorney's Office complaining that they are unethical and need to be removed from the case. Maybe you think your state bar is on your side. Or, maybe it will just be simpler for you to give us some names - these people weren't your clients anyway, there's no confidentiality. Or we can subpoena you, and you can spend your own billable hours fighting the subpoena. Oh, you work for a firm? We can lean on them. Up to you.
4. Lean on the lawyers who represented the few Antifa'ers who actually got arrested. Figure out who paid for them. There's another money trail for you.
5. Identify vehicles bringing the tents, gas masks, shields, and other materiel. If privately-owned, identify the owners and lean on them. If commercial, lean on the company. You don't want to lose federal and red-state contracts, do you? If a rental, now you're in business. A follow-the-money trail has started.
6. Might be able to figure out where the materiel was bought, especially with Amazon and other online retailers helping. Do Big Data/AI for large purchases of those types of equipment near the times of the riots. Again, this technology has vastly improved since 2020.
7. A lot of Antifa'ers haven't really been hiding their tracks. Start with them. Lots of local groups had websites. See who paid for what, from which IP addy.
8. Bongino has daily calls with the SACs of all those FBI field offices for progress reports. Ed Martin does likewise with all those USAOs. People not getting with the program will find other lines of work.
9. In short, just do what the Biden DOJ did from 2021-2025, on these guys. With technology five years more developed.
10. Oh, and run the investigation out of some deep-red podunk judicial district that happens to have an Amazon data center or a bank's processing hub or some other tie to all the activity. This way you have a better chance for sympathetic judges and jurors. Rapidly build an expanded USAO and FBI field office if you need to, and hire/transfer a bunch of AUSAs and special agents to handle the workload. People are elbowing each other aside to work for expanded ICE right now; lots of people will similarly trample their fellow lawyers and coppers to get a chance at crushing Antifa. CC, JSM
Antifa terrorist aren't being individually financed, nor are they somehow deciding on their own to go to a certain place at a certain time to wave identical placards and assault people in the company of other completely self-motivated and self-directed terrorists. All that the law requires is the existence of a conspiracy.

Trump isn't concerned with the group's organizational details, he's concerned with the group member's riots, the violence, the motivation to politically assassinat peaceful citizens. But Code Pink, whose members prefer to disrupt Congressional hearings when Republicans are leading them, is a group of feminists with correct paperwork for their nonprofit status, identified public leadership and some insight into their funding for political speech. I hope their members actually go to prison for their crimes, but hey, the screamers in the audience at hearings have little old lady privileges I guess. Nobody cares that Antifa wants to lead the nation into a communist utopia. That's just politics. But when members mask and attack for political purposes, they are the exact equivalent of Klansmen burning crosses on peoples' lawns, and deserve the exact same treatment: shotgun fire towards them while in the act, without warning, and prosecution for their crimes, with charges for the organizers.

However, I think they are objectively pro-fascist. They are arguing, and rioting, for total state control of economic means as well as people's lives.
Because they are objectively pro-fascist in their goals, I think "Ante-fascist" describes them better. If we could get enough people to use it, we might be able to cause them some annoyance.

Antifa is well (if secretly) organized in Portland and other blue cities, and its activities are funded by wealthy progressives. Andy Ngo's reporting leaves no doubt about its nature. Trump may not have the power to go after domestic terrorist groups, but there's no denying that Antifa is one.
Back in the 80s, the sister of a girl I dated in college told me her sister was a "professional communist." I laughed, but it turned out to be true: she wrote for (I am not making this up) The Young Sparticist and Worker's Vanguard, but she did other stuff, and whatever that was brought in a lot of money, at least if the size and furnishings of her apartment in the Village and the truly enormous quantity of powder coke she offered us were any guide.
Fast forward many years. I'm watching the news about the Occupy Wall Street thing, and what do I see but ex-gf's sister as one of the spokespeople.
