Cool dresses in the website. I also mean that literally.... cool. I still have a few specially handmade loose airy dresses from then and some vintage patterns. Are these really back in style! Perfect for those 100 degree plus days. The breeze can just blow right through the light fabric....... Airy and Free!! I should make some new ones!

Dust Bunny Queen: My wardrobe is probably 80% Gudrun. Their linen is sublime, and their clothing is priced competitively with lines like Talbots or J.Jill. I tend to buy the more conservatively styled basic items. I did have to leave the Facebook page because it was almost 100% Trump-hating lefties.

Chiming in as another Gudrun wearer. When I go to the shops in Manhattan and London, there’s a nice mix of older and younger women. Gudrun’s been designing clothes for so long that Manhattan resale rack has some obviously well made clothes that date back almost to the real hippies. I prefer her Scandinavian designs especially with embroidery but she paints her patterns from her travels (eg New Mexico, Giverny, Morocco) and art history (eg Bakst at Les Ballets Russes). Comfortable clothes that are a pleasure to wear.
