If so, the male legislator was wrongly denounced and in fact I don't think he was denounced at all--he did not vote that way. In the Minnesota House, only the female victim voted to pass the measure. Four DFL senators did so too, including the majority leader.

These shootings occurred well beyond the jurisdiction of the greatly depleted Minneapolis Police Department. It's been a while since I left Minnesota, but I'm guessing there's little enthusiasm to defund the police in Champlin or Brooklyn Center.
The alleged assailant's LinkedIn page is still up. He says he is looking for a job in the food industry, which is where he was employed until just a few years ago.
I think the statement that he owns a security firm is overblown. If it exists at all I am guessing it is very small and not very successful.

The guy appears extremely pro life. He had a long list of targets. The first two homes he hit are in close proximity to each other. His motive could have nothing to do with the two representatives’ votes on healthcare funding, and more to do with simple logistics.
I live in Minnesota, about 15 miles away from where the attacks took place. He's still at large at the moment and he could be any number of places by now. The geographic spread of the Twin Cities is large - it's about 60 miles north to south and 50 miles east to west, so if he's still in the area he could be in a lot of places.
The suspect might own property in Green Isle, a small community about an hour southwest of the Twin Cities; there were a lot of law enforcement officers on the scene there this afternoon.
I had initially thought targeting Hortman was intentional because she cast the deciding vote for the budget in the legislature, honoring the terms of an agreement the leadership of both parties made. I'm not as certain that was the motive now, but it may have been a factor. There's reason to believe the suspect (Boelter) knew Hoffman personally; at a minimum, they apparently crossed paths along the way when Boelter was serving on some governmental commissions. It's less clear that Boelter was still involved in local government.
The one obvious takeaway from this incident is that just because someone looks like law enforcement, they may not be. It's easier than ever to impersonate a law officer; you can buy lightbars on the internet and tactical gear is everywhere. Old unmarked police cars are also easily available via auctions.
The other obvious takeaway is doxing is a really heinous crime - if people have reason to suspect there are fake cops around, a knock on the door at night could lead to a bad situation.
Minnesota politics are fraught right now. The Twin Cities dominate the government and much of the rest of the state has become very conservative over the last 25-30 years. Walz has been especially high handed in his behavior over the last five years and he is either loved or hated. I don't see much hope for things getting better.
My guess is if they find him - he will not be arrested- he will be shot on site.
