For those interested in Andrew Cuomo's EO 170. It reads a bit like weasel wording to me:
"No state officer or employees, including law enforcement, shall disclose information to federal immigration authorities for the purpose of federal immigration enforcement, unless required by law."
If an ICE Agent asks a NY state officer or employee about a person of interest that violated immigration law, they are not allowed to disclose any information to them. That doesn't sound like cooperating with ICE.
Oh, but I didn't quote the whole paragraph:
"Notwithstanding such prohibition, this Order does not prohibit, or in any way restrict, any state employee from sending to, or receiving from, federal immigration authorities, information regarding the citizenship or immigration status, lawful or unlawful, of any individual, as required by law"
See, NY officers can't disclose information to ICE, but they are not restricted on what they can ask ICE, because... wait, there's another paragraph:
"No law enforcement officers shall inquire about an individual's immigration status unless investigating such individual's illegal activity, provided however that such inquiry is relevant to the illegal activity under investigation."
I guess they can't ask ICE, unless they are asking because an individual is under investigation for illegally entering NY, which isn't a crime. That seems quite restrictive for something that does not in any way restrict.

NY, CA, OR, WA, MA, CO & IL need to become their own countries. People who wish to immigrate here have legal paths they can follow. These are legislated by congress, signed by the president, and authority is vested in the executive to implement and execute.
Anyone who crosses the border outside of these legal paths is a foreign invader. They are unwelcome and if they are violent or resistive in any way they should be treated like a foreign invader.
Every country in history has operated this way. It is the only sane way.
The democrats are just showing everyone they are not really a part of our society and that they do not care what is best for Americans. We really need to reconsider letting them stay here.

I have a neighbor that used to live south of the metro area. He bought an expensive home in my neighborhood, sight unseen, and moved his family here, leaving his extended family behind. Some of them have moved here to join them, but not all.
You get to a point where the beauty of the region becomes secondary to the rules you're forced to live under.

Correct. Stefanik IMO blew it by not ask Hochul "so, please tell us what you do know" for each one before going into the details.

Sine the beginning of "civilization" there has been conflict between the nomad/farmer lifestyle and the city states.
People who live in city states prefer a hierarchical society with clear lines of authority and a clear ruling class.
Nomads prefer a more egalitarian individual based society.

I too have no doubt that she heard of the subway burning incident, and can recall it. But your assertion implies that she cared enough about either the victim or the perpetrator to note their names in the first place much less remember them, and that's quite unlikely.
