One reason the disgusting LA riots aren't as riotous as they could be is that there is minimal Black participation and a lack of specifically Black grievances.
The television news of Los Angeles is in a state of cognitive dissonance. On the one hand, they put on LA Mayor Bass and Rep. Maxine Waters who tell us that there's really no rioting, just mostly peaceful protests. One local pundit said it is cheap fakes and Biden-sharp-as-a-tack 2.0.
If it bleeds, it leads has always been the motto of the local news. So on the other hand, the local news stations love the sensational video of the burning cars, rock throwing at police, etc.

So, what's new (besides LA burning)?
(1) A couple days ago Terry Moran of ABC News vented his spleen at Stephen Miller in a tweet he no doubt much regrets. Today he was fired.
(2) Greta Thunberg is on her way back to Sweden after declining an opportunity to watch a documentary about October 7th. I understand that the documentary mostly uses video footage generated by Hamas fighters and Gazans themselves, so I have no idea why she wouldn't want to see her beloved Hamas in action.
(3) Evidently the food that Thunberg and the other celebrities on board the boat was mostly consumed by Thunberg and the celebrities themselves (with perhaps some crumbs for the boat's crew).
(4) Gavin Newsom, through his Attorney General, requested an Emergency Restraining Order to prevent President Trump from nationalizing the California National Guard and sending Marines into LA. U.S. District Judge Charles Breyer (brother of retired Supreme Court Justice Stephen) basically told Newsom and the State of California to forget about an ERO and there will be a hearing Thursday.
(5) And just today a masked anti-ICE protestor in Asheville, NC, was interviewed by a local TV reporter and proceeded to tell her name and even to spell it. So much for protecting your identity!
Yes, I initially assumed that the anti-ICE protestor was giving out someone else's identity while using a mask to protect her own, but DataRepublican did some research, and, apparently, it's for real. Most of us have known for a while that the anti-ICE Lefties are not the sharpest tacks in the bulletin board, but sometimes you get total confirmation.
In all, some pretty good news for us good guys.

I was king of the insults in fourth grade, so I'm kind of an expert in this area. Officially, I graduated to fifth grade, but sometimes I like to revisit my youth.
Anyway, I don't know if people know this, but a gadfly is a fly that buzzes around cattle, annoying the shit out of them. So when you see a cow swatting her tail, that's because she has a gadfly flying around her asshole.
That's the literal definition of gadfly. The figurative one, is a person who is a nuisance, a pest, or a constant irritant. They might be somebody who asks too many questions, criticizes excessively, or tries to get their way by annoying others.

The ICE teams are arresting individuals who are felony criminals - murderers, child rapists, fentanyl distributors; the left-narrative teams are depicting this as round-ups of the illegals among us. Once a person has been in the country for six months illegally they can never get a green card and there are a lot in that situation. "Comprehensive immigration reform" means dealing with that situation in some way. But meanwhile the left-narrators are using the situation of these illegals. They are working to induce in them the fear that a general round-up of illegals is going on whereas in fact ICE is targeting the gangs and the criminals which many of the illegals came to this country to escape. It's difficult for me to understand why the left would work against ICE to protect criminals who are preying on the illegals more than anyone else.
Looking at it a little more widely the whole LA situation is so bizarre and incomprehensible by any standards I know of that true reality must be something different from any situation in the past. Think of this. Last year we found that the LAFD was understaffed, underfunded, untrained and unready and Pacific Palisades burned. This year we find that the LAPD/LA County Sheriff Department is understaffed by 4000 officers - and underfunded, untrained (except, I suppose in DEI) and unready. The same mayor, the same mess. And then this city is going to host the Olympic Games - without a viable police or fire force? Incomprehensible.
Perhaps we are trying to understand the LA clusterfuck (LACF) with Before Time concepts? There's thought going around that AI might escape like HAL and do us all in. I don't expect that but perhaps disorder left to fester can escape and do a city in. We wouldn't recognize it for what it was because most of us are not living in that kind of regime. We are still in the Before Time world but LA is in the Biden Time. The National Guard is needed because whatever the left has been doing in LA they haven't been governing for the people; it's more as if committees and studies and theories have somehow, and however improbably, been creating a monster and it's loose - there. Yet the rest of the country and it's big country, is reforming away from LACF toward MAGA. Even those who hate Trump are moving in his direction to get away from LACF.
Can that city be saved? Well, imagine a local DOGE working with AI to clean up the budget? Imagine a real mayor, working fast like Musk and Trump. Imagine Fire and Police funded and free of DEI. Imagine street camping banned and homeless funding at $0. Imagine all this - I wonder if you can. Or - imagine the Olympics if there is no change.
